The rooms are just basic motel rooms, but clean. The view is excellent and the owners are nice. It's a good value if you're not planning on spending much time in your room.

We love this place. The view from our room was just spectacular. The great part about it was that we were not on the main road, which it seemed we might be from the photos. It was pure serenity up on the hill. And Ryan, the owner, was as gracious as anyone can be. The location was fantastic because it was close to downtown but away from the hustle and bustle. Our first night there we saw two cow moose and a calf down the road a piece, and right on the property a doe and fawn. Fabulous place

My husband and I have stayed by many times during snowmobiling season. There is a private trail that connects to the ITS system right off your front door.
The rooms are clean ( no weird perfume smells😳) , nicely decorated. Super comfortable beds. Great staff. Beautiful views of the mountain range.

Been coming for a few years now during deer season. This recent trip I brought the family up and we stayed in the Suite, amazing experience! Friends also stayed in another room. The rooms and the grounds are incredibly immaculate! Super friendly owners and staff made the experience even more enjoyable! Great views! Also they provide a grill for guests, which we was great to eat out on the deck and enjoy the beautiful fire pit!

Way better than I could have ever expected. I stayed for one night but I'm very used to staying in 4-5 star hotel/resorts so I was a little worried when checking into a "3-star motel"... the room was decent sized with a deck (great addition for the warm summer evenings and beautiful view for sunset/sunrise), some appliances such as the microwave and air conditioner could have definitely used upgrading in my opinion. A touch I really liked was the homemade light switch/outlet covers, as well as the towel rack in the bathroom. Another slight issue was the bed size because I'm over six foot so it

We are here on the last day of our honeymoon to go on a moose safari, We wanted to end this week with a very fun adventure

We are so appreciative of a warm bed to lay our heads. The room was simple and clean. My only wish was a spare blanket as the room was quite chilly. Otherwise the room was just fine. We were even offered a bit of breakfast before our journey home. The breakfast was also very simple due to covid restrictions.

Highly recommend the suite. We were in Moosehead for the weekend and had the unfortunate luck of weather - it snowed, iced and was extremely windy one of the days that we were there.
The suite is gorgeous, big, has a full kitchen, big TV and fireplace so my husband and I brought out the puzzle and DVDs we had with us and had a snowy day in. The suite was immaculate.

Lovely spot to stay for 3 nights. I found the bed to be very comfortable, 4 delightfully fluffy pillows and the views! Amazing. It was clean, tidy, and just what I needed to relax at the end of a long day. I didn't anticipate it but the small sitting sofa in my queen bed room appeared to have fold out capabilities. I would absolutely stay here again. It is at the end of a dirt road (which is what most of Greenville is) so if you have a 2 wheel drive or low sitting car just be prepared!

Great family run motel, just outside of Greenville. The family that runs the motel is very friendly and accommodating.

Views of Moosehead lake are amazing with each room having a balcony or deck.

Kineo View Lodge was a great way to spend a night before having to get up super early the next morning for a guided moose tour. Room had a great view out back of a field and woods. The balcony was also fantastic at night to sit out and watch the stars. Made me realize how much light pollution there is at home and how much there is to miss in the sky. Only complaint I have about the place — and it's minor — is (at least with our room) the wiring for the room lights was weird and a little tricky and not necessarily intuitive to figure out which switch turned on and off which light. Well, also

Definitely a place I will go back to! Finding a place to stay around Moosehead FAST isn’t easy in the winter, but this place had us covered. 10/10 everything! Friendly service, down to earth, and outstanding view of the mountains and lake.

I have stayed at the Kineo View in both the winter and summer. The winter is great for snowmobiling with trails right there. The summer is so beautiful, with gorgeous sunsets. The view is just incredible. The motel is very clean and comfortable. The couple who manage the motel are polite and friendly. They are very accommodating, and great to talk with. It's overall a great place to stay at a great value. I would recommend the place to anyone, and can't wait to go back.

This is a very nice small hotel just outside of town in Greenville, ME (2.6 miles to town center), at the foot of Moosehead Lake. My son (10) and I stayed there prior to meeting our guide and team for a week on the Allagash. Don't let the sign on the road fool you (the sign looks kind of rough), the place is clean, quiet, comfortable and well-run. There is a nice little shop with snacks, literature, and area-related stuff. All of the rooms have sweeping views of the lake and mountains from sliding doors on the back, with a small deck you can walk out on and take it all in. I asked about
