Every situation is unique, and Nakata Consulting works to provide sound, practical advice that is tailored to each client's situation. Together, we design a plan so I can give you what you need, when you need it: to be more hands-on when you need support, and to act in an advisory role when you just need a little guidance.

Some families, like my own, experience the challenges of parenting a child with special needs. I have learned firsthand how to build a "team" with schools, educators, and other service providers. Partnerships are powerful.
When parents, practitioners, researchers, and educators form partnerships within communities, it promotes personal choice, self-determination, and the social, educational, and economic welfare of all children (especially those with challenges) as they transition into adulthood. My own experiences creating partnerships to help my child with unique challenges, led me to the conclusion that parents need help in this process.

Your child will be in his or her school daily for many years to come. Teachers and staff talk to one another and share their insights and feelings, just as families do. Teachers want to do what is best for all of the students they serve. Remember, a strained relationship can drain a teacher or staff's physical and emotional resources and thus impact the type of care and services a student receives.

Joe is the BEST thing we did for our company, Altared Visions. I found him through rave reviews and suggestions on the SouthCoast Girl Photographers Night Out group on Facebook and I could kiss everyone that sent us to him!
Joe will meet with you and learn all about your business. He acts as an accountant, financial adviser and business consultant all in one! His advice has helped up clean up our back end and finally tackle sales tax and all the other things that made tax time a nightmare in years past!
His rates are great, his service is fast and prompt and he is so easy to reach. We really

Nakata Consulting is an essential piece of my business life!!
But for the rest of this review let's just be on a first name basis and talk about Joe.
I would have probably given up the whole self employed business long ago if not for Joe. I found Joe through some other colleagues in the Boston photography network years ago. I'll admit I was more than clueless about how to keep my bookkeeping organized and he took me under his wing, took the chaos and made sense of it all. Now I do most of the bookkeeping on my own and he gives it a look once a month to make sure I'm on track.
