The Mac Shack has 30+ years of Mac, Unix and PC systems. Vicki Schwaid's background began with a Photography. Graduating from USF with a Photo degree with a minor emphasis in electronic music. From there Vicki was involved in computer animation, creating network commercials for television as well as industrial videos, IBM and the medical industry.
We were in the unix environment, and we had to fend for ourselves, in regards to making pictures, animating, and recording on to video tape. We had no one to call. After leaving the computer animation production industry, Vicki began building video and animation systems akin to what she had used for many years, but, with the most advanced technology.

We do training based on the latest technology. We are great at integrating older technology with the new stuff. We take great pride in working with all types of people and companies. We give the best support and have more current knowledge about Mac products than anyone else. Vicki Schwaid is a genius. I have called her almost every time I have a Mac or iPhone problem and she is a brilliant diagnostician. Recently I called T-Mobile-Apple Support because my contacts were only partially showing up on my iPhone. After over an hour and a total iPhone reset which cost me a loss several important items, my contacts were still missing! In desperation I called Vicki. She asked me to look at the GROUP setting to see if ALL the contacts were checked. They weren't! For a Luddite like me, she is absolutely invaluable!

Vicki - The Mac Shack in Nyack has been providing support to my printing company for years. She is quick and efficient , no problem has been too large or difficult. We have several Macs, a PC, and high end printers. All the equipment is integrated on the network, including an embroider machine. I highly recommend the Mac Shack for her knowledge and expertise. Her advise for workflow as well as selecting new gear has been extremely helpful. And when she leaves, everything is working. Remote support has also been extremely helpful. Sometimes, it’s the little quick fix that makes the day very sweet

Vicki is a complete superstar when it comes to ANYTHING Apple related (not just Macs). She has consulted on a number of complex issues that I have had with my computers and devices. The quality of her service is far far superior to any of the local 3rd party "genius bar" stores and services. There is no problem that she has not solved and she is determined to always get to the bottom of any complex issue and I have certainly tested her! She is very responsive when it comes to urgent situations as well. You really can't do better than Vicki
