Our story began in 1992 while attending Angelo State University when we saw a need for moving services with better quality at a much lower price. Large moving companies had something of a monopoly in the industry, rates based on weight meant high prices were the norm, even for local short-distance moves.
Our goal was and still is to give people a better option; great personalized service at a fair, reasonable price. We were pioneers in the very idea of "Affordable Move". We booked a move and we r/s for a day earlier do to weather. I was informed the night before that I would receive a text or a call with a dispatch window. Time rolls around for the movers to show up 15 mins late from appointment time, totally not a big deal asked em about the dispatch call I was supposed to get. Walked them around the house to… show them what I had to move. They LEFT my front door open wide open, and LEFT the job without a word. So I'm sitting here thinking they went to go get a bigger truck or a trailer because it wouldn't fit? I don't know. Call recieve voicemail. Send

I have always used Affordable Movers. Easy to schedule your move. They are punctual and communication is excellent. They just moved my furniture and things from storage to my new upstairs apartment and did an Excellent job moving my things. Very professional, great team, dependable and ready to help with any of your needs. Affordable Movers rate a 10 plus. Definitely recommend if your looking for a moving company to move you. 🤗💯

They were awesome. Moved a 3 bedroom two bath apartment into a 3 bedroom home in 2 hours and 15 minutes. They are upfront and honest about their cost as well as time. They were fast and careful. I highly recommend Affordable Movers and will always use them when I need assistance moving. The employees were motivated and I felt they handled my property as if it were their own. Great group of guys.

Excellent service! Everyone involved in my move was absolutely amazing! Ms. Denise was so sweet and helpful when she answered the phone. She got me set up quickly. Paul and the gentlemen showed up and got right to work. He said they were fast, and by golly they were fast! They were in and out and by my storage unit in UNDER the quoted time. I will always recommend them and will never use another company!
