Carmel Car Service is simply the best and most reliable car service in the NYC area. I have been using them for many years and each time I've been met at the airport at exactly the time promised by friendly drivers in immaculately clean cars. This is true for my scheduled pickup and return to the airport. You can count on seamless transportation to and from the NY airports. I want to be clear that although they are generous and offer $10 credit for my comments I am no way influenced by what I've written.

I booked clients for 4 private SUV transfers. I confirmed that they could handle a group that large. Viator confirmed the pick up. I called and verified the pick up as well. Less than 24 hours of the pick up, they called my client to canceled all 20 passengers for the airport pick up and the subsequent hotel pick up. The booking was made through Viator.

The worst private transportation company EVER!!!! I waited in the airport for over call the number on my reservation that was in New York only to be transferred 6 times the they finally get a hold to my driver only for him (Moses) to tell me "Wait til I text you then go to the location I text to you and wait there." I'm in a airport I have never been in before I see other private transportation drivers waiting with a sign of the passengers name there picking up but yet I have to wait for a text from some extremely rude man and Customer service person who I paid for PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION

I have used Carmel alternatively w other limo companies for many years in nyc. Generally, I’d rate them ok at best. My last 2 trips - to and from laguardia - were not ok. Both drivers spoke barely any English. When I arrived back at lga, it took several minutes of waiting before they picked up the phone, and 11 more for their car to arrive. I had organized to use “car cash” but it wasn’t credited on my bill either way. I called to complain and received a return call almost 48 hours later, who said I was right and someone would call me back. That person said I hadn’t signed up for “car
