I brought them my Cab Over Engine truck to install new glass. It needed to be done in 3 weeks before I moved. They put it off too long, so Bob told me he would make templates and ship me the glass. After months of calls, they finally shipped me the glass. It was so undersized no seal could fix it, and they were discolored from applying too much heat. I called Bob and he said he would make it right. He then stopped accepting all calls. Read other similar negative reviews. There are too many to ignore. They are criminal. Stay away!

Robert Merrill the owner made it a point to say he was gonna take care of a bad windshield (didn’t fit the car) he sold me, but never made any attempt to do so. He claims he contacted his supplier and would get back with me after asking for pics of the windshield and tags off of it, over 50 days later he’s not returned a call or contacted me. I would steer clear of this place for sure!

Once again, Deep Ellum has saved the day. In less than a week we've had to replace three driver side windows in company trucks (three different vehicles) and Robert and crew were awesome in response, getting the work done, and pricing. Always a pleasure even if the circumstances aren't.

Have been trying to find someone to do my 56 belair glass for quite some time. Either didn't trust people or they were super expensive. Robert at Deep Ellum put all my concerns at ease and did a great job. Price was good and he was able to do it at an auto swap meet over the course of a couple days for me. Will definitely bring all future cars to him.

Never use this company. The customer service was the worst ever. Had a Cadillac Escalade that needed a windshield replaced. They replaced the wind shield with a cheap imitation that was not compatible with my Escalade model. After attempting for weeks to get the glass replaced, the company continued to give me excuse after excuse for why they had not replaced the windshield. Finally I spoke with the owner, Robert, only to get more of the same. Same problem as Daniel H.... made an appointment, called to adjust the address so that there would be covered parking to make the repair, and no one called or showed. Eh, someone else made 200 today. This company is also associated with Crack Doctor... the addresses are the same. That's cool, I'll be sure to leave this review there as well. Give the Glass Genie a call- they gave me a noon-2 window and they called at 12:03 to say they were 10 min out.

I've given this place the benefits of the doubt. It was around last year where my nephew brought in my sister's car in to have the windshield repaired. When he picked up the car, the employee had started the car for him and had made sure everything was alright before my nephew drove off. Thinking that the key was in the car, my nephew drove off and when he got home... he couldn't find the key anywhere. He called back and was told that the key was on top of the roof. They admitted that it was their fault and said they would have another key fob replaced for us. Will it has been months

This place is great! I called and they gave me an estimate (which was significantly cheaper than 2 other places I called) in less than 5 minutes. They worked my my schedule and got me an appointment later that afternoon. The tech that came out to my house was friendly and completed the work in a timely manner. First of all, they are no longer in Deep Ellum. They are located 30 minutes south. I originally chose them becausei figured it would be a quick, local job. I called and gave my requests of factory glass with no features. They sent a guy out, showed up late to the 2 hour window. He did not even have the glass. They had never heard of a windshield by Lexus without any features so they assumed I was wrong. I told them 3 times that there was no features. They send someone out again, they were late again, and they were unprepared. I decided after wasting 2 days or making my car available that I would

Came here to get my windshield replace. I had called earlier in the week, but do to some odd reason they did not have my replacement windshield in house. But it was ok because they actually left to go pick up the replacement windshield from their wearhouse.
The people who work here are very customer friendly and the price for the services are very reasonable.
If I have anymore windshield issues I will be sure to use these guys again

This place is very customer service oriented. They did a great job at fixing a crack I had in my window. They also guarantee their work, so that if the crack spreads further after they have fixed it, they will fix it for free. I can't recommend them enough. I have used them on 3 separate occasions already.

Came here because after soaking to the dealership they were telling me it would be somewhere bergen $500-$700 to fix my passenger side window. I explained to them that it seemed like the adhesive had given way and was why my window had slid into the door panel. They started telling me how it was probably a motor or some other expensive labor intensive job. Needless to say I decided to shop around.
I get to Deep Ellum Auto Glass, the guys come out take a look....tell me they might have to pull the door panel off...after a quick diagnosis I couldn't believe the fair price they gave me.

In the past 18 months or so, I've had to replace two radios in my Camry. The second, SHOULD have been covered by a warranty, except that it turned out that the problem was caused by water getting to the radio. I was perplexed, but last week, I realized that it could be getting under my windshield, as it looked to me that the plastic (or what I thought was caulking) at the base of the windshied was breaking down. I had to get my windshield replaced due to a stupid rock cracking my windshield. Deep Ellum Auto Glass was able to get me in 1 hour after my call. They told me they would pick up my windshield and I would be in and out for $170 (4-door sedan) in 45 minutes.
It's a small simple shop, there's really limited parking, so just pull in (right before the light). They will take care of you, everyone was decently friendly and they got me in and out of there.
They do offer service at whatever location you choose but I think it is cheaper if you drive there

After talking over the phone with different windshield replacement companies, I called Deep Ellum Auto Glass and the owner, Randy Merrill, answered the phone and gave me a quote to replace the windshield in an automobile that had its windshield shattered by a hailstorm. Randy was extremely nice and quoted me the price. I hung up the phone and thought about it for a minute. Then decided to call him back and ask him if that included the moulding and tax since some of the previous quotes started out with a low price and then ended up with a higher price after the moulding and tax was disclosed.
