The room and facility were clean, the staff were helpful, and we received a breakfast voucher for $8.00 per person for the next door restaurant. If you both eat a full breakfast with drinks, it would not cover the cost, but it was nice. It is pet friendly, and we travel with our dog, which we appreciate, but realize it is $25.00 pet fee. The reason for the 2 star rating: the walls are paper thin. Our neighbors were up until 2am and left the TV on thru the night. We needed to be up at 5am which left a day of very difficult travels. So...if you need sleep, think again. Also, the room wasn't as updated

Visited with our dogs. The room was immaculate, Marilyn at the front desk was very helpful. Only difficulty was the dog room does not have carpet. Only tile which was challenging for our arthritic dog to deal with. We will visit again but we'll remember to bring a blanket again. Left our dog blanket there when we checked out, darn it

Stayed here for a few nights, very courteous staff and George (manager) and Shirley (owner) were very gracious to us during a difficult time for us.. we really appreciate it and we will forever be thankful for you!! I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Lander Wyoming or need a place to stay while passing through.. thank you again to Shirley, George, and staff!!!

I hate giving bad reviews but I have to give an honest review. Rooms were okay but there wasn't a fridge or microwave. Bathrooms were okay as well but the toilet was extremely hard to flush and when i mean extremely, i had to use 70 percent of my arm strength to flush it. Breakfast was horrendous. I ordered waffles and the waitress returned saying they were out. And im thinking its breakfast how can you be out? I ordered a chicken fried steak and i made clear I wanted the gravy on the side. It came out with the gravy on top and i couldn't scrape it off so it had to be returned. I ended up eating

Very clean, even if a little aged. Nice big grassy areas to walk the dog all around the property. Great sidewalks let you walk right over to quaint historic Main Street. I and some other guests had a little trouble checking in via our prepaid reservations (mine were made through RocketMiles), as the manager expressed frustration with third-party services and computers -- but he and other staff remained very eager to assist guests even when check in lines got long.

Someone needs to get rid of the ridiculous pictures that advertise this hotel. Also nothing like having one person checking in a dozen people with more coming in. Wait in line about 20-30 minutes it longer. Manager should have fully staffed the checkin because there is a wedding party with small children, folks from Cycle Greater Yellowstone, bikers, and NOLS hikers. Kind of unbelievable. Not enough staff to clean rooms before checkin knowing the hotel was full the night before. Not a happy camper. I may improve my rating after I get through this ridiculous line and get my breakfast and drink coupons

My wife and I stopped on the way up to Jackson late at night. Got a room that was very clean, very comfortable, and very reasonably priced.
They offered to block our bikes up for the night, which they did.
It is well more than I would have expected after driving through the middle of nowhere for two hours
Got a complementary breakfast, they even had an espresso machine. Oatmeal and you hurt with berries were great.

We stayed here for the eclipse with a 3 night demand. Reservations were made over a year ahead. We requested a main floor room and were assured we had a main floor room because there isn't an elevator. Our room was actually on the mezzanine level (4 steps up) unless you knew to enter by the back door which had no lighting which we weren't told about. The room had no refrigerator and no microwave. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was free and good, but only to $7.00 each at the restaurant which is connected. They told us they didn't have laundry facility onsite. They

My family and my sisters family stayed at The Inn at Lander July8,2016. Two rooms, four people in each room. The rooms were fine but, there is NOT complimentary breakfast, as stated in the web site. You get two vouchers for $7.00 @ and must pay for the other food. I asked the attendant about it and she said they have been doing that since January 2016 but no one has changed the web site!!! WHAT!!! The pool was excruciatingly cold for adults and children alike......the bottom looked dirty anyway. Probably would look around better next time

This is a great hotel. We have stayed here the two times we visited Lander. We will be heading back there in a week and would not consider staying anywhere else. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The staff is welcoming and accommodates all of our needs. The breakfast and cookies in the evenings are delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean. We are from Los Angeles and usually stay at four star hotels or better. This hotel is highly recommended and should be at least a four star.

I give this hotel five stars simply for the wonderful people who work here and their impeccable customer service!
On our way to Yellowstone, my husband and I hit a deer in the middle of the night, which banged up our car pretty badly. We thought our vacation was over when we were forced to turn around and spend the night in Lander (thinking the worst--that we would have to wait until morning and get a tow 5+ hours back to Denver.) We ended up spending the night at the Inn at Lander after finding out almost all of the hotels in town were booked up. When we arrived, the front desk attendant was

I travel a lot for work, and usually try to stay at Best Westerns for some consistency - I'm a gold member in their rewards program. So my review of this particular BW is based a lot on comparison to the others I've stayed at.
The woman at the check in desk was very nice and friendly when I arrived, but did not give me any information about breakfast the next day (or indicate that I would need vouchers as another reviewer mentioned). Additionally, I made this reservation the week before and faxed in my company's authorization and credit card information, and received a fax confirmation

DON'T STAY HERE
Not a great facility..it's starting to show its age, but worse is the apathetic response we get from the staff.
Outdoor pool with no lights, we are told "I can't get to them at this time." No more reason or concern for their guests safety..we took the kids out immediately so they wouldn't get hurt. E literally could not see them in the water.
New HI Express in town..we will be there tomorrow and will check out a day early.

This place was great! Even though the power went out while I was in the shower... most everything else made up for it, and hey, they water was still hot.
Beds: soft, big good squishy (yet firm) pillows, and plenty of blankets.
Price: $100 for a busy weekend night with two $5 vouchers off food/beverage for dinner/breakfast or for the breakfast buffet. NOTE; it's a buffet, treat it like one. They say it opens at 6:30, get there 10 min before, otherwise, you're better off with the 'made to order' stuff.
Restaurant: they boast one of the best in town, but really, if you want
