Early detection and treatment are essential to preventing vision conditions that have the potential to cause permanent loss of vision. We offer eye exams for patients at ANY age. The Eye Center has been providing comprehensive eye care to the Greenbrier Valley since 2003. Eye care visionary, Dr. Philip N. Light, M.D., founded The Eye Center of Greenbrier Valley in 2003.
Though he was known by many as the "cataract king, " he humbly and diligently served his patients through extraordinary medical and surgical eye care until his passing in 2018. His impact on our community will remain cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Dr. Adams and the the lady that works on glasses are awesome. The only thing is that the lady behind the desk isnt very friendly at all!!! I was running a few moments late and first the line was busy. Then we called like 3 more times before we got ahold of someone then we was put on hold 2 or 3 times then she was like make sure you wear a mask and hung up!! Be polite its your job to be friendly with the customers! If you cant handle that then being behind a desk isnt for you!

The original plan was to never come back to the office and find a new doctor and hope for a better experience. I’m leaving the honest review 2 months later because of the surprise balance that I owe. I was just informed Monday 7/26/21. I confirmed twice that my insurance would cover the appointment. Communication would be nice.

Surprise charges and rude staff. This was my first time going to this office. I was told over the phone that my exam would be covered through insurance. I was told in person that my exam would be covered through insurance. The doctor barely introduced herself. She would only speak to her technicians when completing my exam. I felt rushed and not the priority for the 10 minutes of exam. I was given a test that wasn’t explained or researched to see if my insurance would cover. The doctor just did it. I’ve been to other offices in Lewisburg where they speak to you and tell you what’s going on

My exam was fine, but they completely ruined a pair of my glasses. I sent off a pair to have the lenses replaced. The older lady at the glasses desk didn’t write down that I wanted the thin lens upgrade/polycarbonate. So when they came in, they had huge, thick lenses stuffed into the frames which had bent them severely out of shape and the arms were stretched far too wide to even touch the sides of my head.
They sent them back for me and had the lenses swapped out, but the frames are permanently damaged. They’ve bent them back into shape twice now, but they stretch back out within a week and

We received a phone call on our home phone with message that our daughter's eyeglasses were ready to pick-up at our convenience. That was Thursday, 9-21-18 and today Friday, 9-22-18 it was convenient for us to drive over and pick them up. However, they were already closed shortly after 1:00 pm. What's up with this? Should the person leaving the message let us know that their office would be closed Friday afternoon? I would have. We wasted time and fuel.
