Great camp spot. We were tent camping near the river, the space between spots is unbelievably huge. Dixie the owner was lovely and very accommodating. My wife and current 6yo daughter would happily return.

Nice small campground on the river, but seems overpriced. Spent over $300 on a cabin for the weekend with no running water. Had to pay to use showers and $15 for a small bundle of wood. Staff were nice and it was a quiet place.

Very peaceful and beautiful spot to stay. We stayed in the large cabin and found it comfortable and sweet. There was no running water in the cabin and outhouse only. They charge $2 to take a shower. Because of that, I give 4 stars instead of 5. Loved and enjoyed the dog, Lizzie! It was a nice getaway from life and close to fun things to do in Decorah.

Texted them on Tuesday to book a reservation. Was told they do not do reservations for less than 3 days but they had spots available. Ignored my texts the next couple days. My fiance texted them asking about check in times Friday and we were told it is full. The day before we are supposed to leave. I now have 6 people packed up trying to figure out where we are supposed to go. No one will return my phone call. I guess if your not willing to pay them more than 2 nights or stay in a cabin they could care less about you. Thank God my fiance texted them tonight. I was told to text them Friday morning

I'd give it 20 star rating!! Very relaxed quiet place. Down to earth family! Perfect place for what we were looking for. Lots of other campers and not no loud people or parties! Definitely will be going back!!!

Very friendly family. Cabin was adorable. Nature/sight seeing on the river is amazing. Not a glamp site, but far from rough camping. Almost no mosquitos, but a lot of flys.

This is a really beautiful campground. There's not a lot of shade but it's next to a lovely bluff and river. It's easy to find with GPS and you're minutes away from a Walmart, gas and fast food. There's only one shower so you can run into a lengthy wait. We'd go here again.

I've rented kayaks and canoes from this family for years and will keep going back. It ain't fancy, but it's affordable with great service.

We took a group of teenagers out here for a couple days of camping and canoeing. we had a blast. the campground's location is great, right next to the river and a cool bridge, and there is plenty of wide open, mowed space to spread out and have fun. at this campground you have access to a clean, modern bathroom which we thought was great! we rented a trailer-full of canoes and kayaks for the long (6-hour paddle) river trip. they were very accommodating with the shuttle and the equipment was good. the river was awesome - we spent 8 hours out there - and we felt like champions when we were done.

Love coming here! Camped here for the first time in high school for an Ecology field trip and fell in love. My best friend and I have just started to try to come back every summer to camp for a few nights and canoe down the river. We always try to get the back corner lot (feels more secluded). Everyone has always been very friendly, including their dogs. :) They have one of the nicest out-houses I've ever been in, but also have a real toilet and shower you can use up at their cabin. Highly recommended.
