Since 1951, Lewistown Livestock Auction has served the cattle producers of central Montana with weekly all-class cattle sales. Cattle sales are every Tuesday with a summer schedule in effect during the months of June, July and August. Central Montana is home to some of the best agricultural production land in North America, exceptional cattle genetics, and producers who are experts at maximizing their environment and their cow herd.

Services
Steady markets on all accounts this week at LLA with 1500 head of cattle crossing the scale. We sold nearly 800 head of feeder cattle with a high percentage of the calves weighing between 400# and 600#. 4-weight steers were still bumping up next to $180 and 5-weights were in the $160's and $170's. Heifer calves were still tracking $20-25 behind their steer mates.
