The credit union idea is a simple one: People should be able to pool their money and make loans to each other. It's an idea that evolved from cooperative activities in 19th century Europe. Members are, after all, borrowing their own money and that of their friends. These principles still govern most of the world's credit unions.
To be eligible for membership, you must be an employee or family member of an employee i.e. Your savings are federally insured to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government through the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency. With our HOME BANKING product you can see your account balances, transfer funds to and from savings.and even see images of your checks which have cleared. Your monthly statement also gives detail on checks cleared including check number, date cleared and amount. Balancing a checking account is easy with carbonless, duplicate checks.
If you hate to take money out of your savings, this is the loan for you. Borrow against your own funds and get a reduced rate on your loan at the same time. Pine Federal Credit Union offers VISA Credit cards with no annual fee. The Pine Federal Credit Union VISA card has a twenty-five (25) day grace period on purchases before interest starts accrueing when balances are paid in full each month.
