Cottonwood Cove RV Park
First opened for limited use in 2018 Cottonwood Cove is the tiny park with the bright future. Come and relax in this beautiful, and quiet environment. We are surrounded by mountains and a River in a wooded setting. Our RV sites are shaded and grassy with spacious level pull-thrus and a nice back in site up against the edge of the loop.

Sites & amenities will be added each season so check back each year to see what's new! Site prices include up to 6 people per site and 2 licensed vehicles (including all trailer types). Please park both vehicles within your reserved site. When you book a stay with us on this website, the site you pick and reserve is the site you are required to occupy upon arrival.
Services
Site #1 is our most popular site, it offers the easiest access for any size RV. It is situated right next to our signature twin cottonwoods and offers an up front and center location. This site is closest to the future overflow parking, C-store, and path to the waterfront beach. This site is now available for booking!
A short walk from your campsite brings you to the beautiful Pend Oreille River, where we have a small Beach area to enjoy the water. Please remember it is foot traffic only down to the waterfont and be sure to remain in the designated area. Summer at Schweitzer means wildflowers, hucklerries, mountain biking, hiking, and enjoying the views of three states and Canada from the summit!
Our experience with Cottonwood Cove RV park was one of chance. We had originally booked our stay at another campsite that was not in the best of conditions. Upon our arrival to Cottonwood Cove RV park we found out that this small but well maintained RV park was all to our selves. The sites themselves are large, clean, and were easily accessed by our fifth wheel.
We are so glad you're here! As a guest (Registered Camper) of CCRVP (Cottonwood Cove RV Park) please review the following information to help ensure your stay is a pleasant one. This property is privately owned.

We like to be out of town a ways, prefer peace and quiet and this location has been perfect for that. The park owner has been extremely professional, courteous and it's been great dealing with a person instead of a corporation.

The sites themselves are large, clean, and were easily accessed by our fifth wheel. There was one site that was currently paved in and per the owners website the goal for the coming years was to pave the next two sites and open up the fourth and fifth site for campers.
Across the street from the RV park was private beach

Cottonwood cove is an amazing place for you visit to Northern Idaho. My family has gone back to this same location 2 years in a row now and are planning another visit very soon. The Hosts of this campsite are friendly and accommodating to their campers needs. They have an amazing private beach just across the road. That is kid friendly which was a huge plus for our family. I would recommend this site to anyone.

The Stay here was wonderful!
The owners were very accommodating! There was a slight double booking that happened with the site because glitches just happen, and they were very wonderful as to make it right! I couldn’t have asked for better hosts and a better river spot! The kids and family had hours and hours of fun ☺️

Will be nice setup when's finished, but could use more maneuver room. Only one concrete pad at the time; and one gravel. Double booked our reserved space for our first night so had to park on undeveloped area. Got everything worked out and stayed two more nights. Haven't decided if we will try this RV park again. Price is decent for power, water and sewer. No wi-fi or cable, bring your satellite.

Stayed here a week. A cozy little developing park. As the owner does more work over the next year it will only get better. I was in spot 1 so I had a nice level concrete pad.
Bring your own internet. I found both AT&T and Verizon to have strong data signals. My t-mobile got nothing.
The park is tight. Respect your neighbors, the owner and the rules of the park.
All in all I am pleased with my time at this park and it's on my list of return destinations.

This place is nothing like the pictures you show. It's not on the river or a lake. It just has 2 trailers there and nothing else.nothing to do there.

This cozy little park is the perfect hideaway to enjoy northern Idaho‘s ambience at its finest. Nestled between Sandpoint and Newport Washington, the charming little town of Priest River is quiet and serene. With Riverfront access to Priest River, we had hours of fun and relaxation in the crystal blue waters observing bald eagles and osprey in their natural habitat. Will absolutely return to this lovely setting.

Very small and yet completely undeveloped park when I stayed there. My site was level and easy to set up my coach. Convenient location to my job site and very reasonable rate. Really hope the absolute best for this family developing this park.
