Welcome to Atlantic Coast Cannabis MD, a physician's practice where patients are seen and evaluated for medical marijuana cards in the state of Florida. We are also a participating member in an online peer-to-peer portal for medical professionals to share HIPAA protected info to improve the future of medical marijuana treatments. The history of medicine is littered with anecdotes detailing the usefulness of medical marijuana for the treatment of patients. It was a commonplace medication prescribed by physicians for a vast array of ailments. In the early 1900s cannabis was finally banned in the United States. In the late 1900s, the endocannabinoid system was discovered and the interest in medical cannabis resurged.
Dr. Ryan has created a unique practice. Atlantic Coast Cannabis, M.D. is not your typical physician's office. Instead of sitting on a table in an exam room, you will find yourself relaxing on a comfy couch or restful armchair, as Dr. Ryan has designed a comfortable and safe environment, placing the needs and well-being of her patients first.
Must have tried other treatments without success, and ordering physician must determine the risks of medicating with cannabis are reasonable in respect to the benefits to the patient. Essentially, the physician must determine that the benefits of medicating with cannabis outweigh the risks. Authorization for release of health information for the doctor treating the patient's debilitating conditions.
Dr. Ryan is a qualified ordering physician under Florida Law. She is able to qualify medical cannabis patients and to make recommendations for low-THC (CBD) and full strength medical cannabis. All evaluations will be completed by Dr. Ryan personally. Must meet the criteria of a qualifying medical condition approved by the FL Office of Medical Marijuana Use/OMMU.
Atlantic Coast Cannabis, M.D. offers a unique service called Dispensary Accompaniment, whereby either Dr. Ryan or one of her highly trained associates will accompany a patient to a dispensary of his or her choosing, so long as the dispensary is within 20 miles of the office. Dr. Ryan believes in personalized healthcare, with each patient receiving proper guidance and an individualized cannabis regiment to ensure optimal results.
