We are all doing well and are ready to continue practicing into the new year. We recommend this screening test for all patients. OCT(Optical Coherence Tomography) is a completely painless and advanced screening system that checks for serious conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes, age-related macular degeneration, vitreous detachments and more.
Like an ultrasound, OCT uses light waves rather than sound waves to see beneath the surface of the eye. Ask for an OCT brochure for more information. This is in combination with the Retinal Photos, which show us a digital image of the retina and optic nerve. Our eye care center offers a range of eye health services to clients of all ages, from children to older adults.

Brattleboro Family Eye Care is amazing! The staff is so friendly and genuine. I have had amazing service here. Everyone is super knowledgeable, professional in their presentation and caring in their approach. The glades featured in my review pic are by “Dragon.” I was so stoked to find eyewear made from recycled material. I’ve been wearing glasses since grade school and these are by far the most comfortable glasses I’ve ever had. Thank you Brattleboro Family Eye Care for your awesome service! I’ll be a patient there for as long as I live in this area!

Dr. Cotter. Garbage. This office? Garbage. Let me be clear in that this does not apply to the staff, but an office is not just their staff. I don't say this lightly, I have found an office in Keene, New Hampshire that has done me wonders and cleared up my vision the way this office never seemed to have been able, even after so many appointments that I lost vacation time with my job. I was a patient of these guys for years, I gave them the benefit of the doubt time and time again, but they proved themselves to be consistent failures. You should be put out of business. Dr. C and the Brattleboro Family Eye Care staff are simply the best! We've been really happy with our experiences. He takes the time to make sure you get a thorough exam - this isn't just a "here's your prescription, now go" place. The glasses selection is awesome, too - always changing, always new styles, and staff are super-helpful for fashion-indecisive people like me!

I got a referral from Dr. Duff to go.to him for an earlier appointment because I was on Medicaid. I only had been on Medicaid for 6 months and have already discovered that Medicaid patients don't get treated the same way as everyone else. I showed up for my appointment and they said that I wasn't even on the books .But, I actually had made special arreangements with my boss, brand new boss by the way ,to get out of work and go to the appointment. When I got there she said that I was not in the system so I did not make an appointment. After arguing with her for several minutes she said to me ,"well

I have been going here for years and every time I go in I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. Dr. Cotter is a very intelligent person and informs me well of my eye perscription. Also, the entire staff is extremely kind and accomodates with my schedule. I ordered my glasses with them and got them two days later! Would never go anywhere else

Wonderful bunch at BFEC! Doctors are very thorough and seem to genuinely care for each patient that comes into the office. They are willing to explain any part of the exam in a way that is easy to understand. All the technicians are extremely knowledgeable about all the frames and contacts lenses in the practice. They all seem to enjoy playing around with and making frame selection a fun part of the exam, not just a requirement. They all try to make sure that the frames selected are the best possible for you in terms of size, color, and style. They are always willing to give opinions or suggestions
