At Moores Machine Shop, full-service means delivering a complete component, not just a machined part. We go from raw stock to the finished part with coatings, heat treating, anodizing, required certification and inspections, light assembly, packaging and labeling. We source the materials and all the secondary services.

You write one purchase order and we take care of the rest including certification and traceability. Moores Machine Shop is a full-service machine shop specializing in the Oil & Gas Industry. We work with both high volume production and small lots in a wide variety of materials from carbon and alloy steels through ductile and grey irons to aluminum, carbon fiber, plastics, and high-temperature alloys.
Services
At Moore's Machine Shop and Fabrication, our CNC mills are a huge part of our operation in the machine shop. While the lathes handle most of our material removing, the mills handle the more intricate, nonrotational side of our machining. Under professional supervision, we have multiple programmers and machinist who are highly trained in multiple types of CAD software.
Here at Moore's Machine and Fabrication, we still utilize our manual mills on a daily basis. The manual mills can be used for a variety of reasons but are best used on low quantity parts. The manual mills can be used for tool repair, drilling/tapping holes and many other operations that would be done faster on a manual mill than it would be to program and set up a CNC mill.
Whether you need a unique machined part, or hundreds of parts per week, we can meet your requirements with our state of the art CNC turning and machining centers. Machining your steel, alloy, plastic, aluminum, or bronze precision machined parts to tight tolerances is part of a normal day's work here at MMS.
Manual lathes are the roots of Moore's Machine Shop and Fabrication. As technology has helped in the evolution of machining, manual lathes still have their place at MMS today. There was a time where every lathe in our building was a manual. While we have more CNC lathes running today than we have manual lathes, we still utilize our manual lathes.
You probably already knew about our expertise in machining and deep hole drilling, but now more of our customers are taking advantage of our ability to do the whole job from start to finish. Tight tolerances and a low surface finish are typical for parts that require honing. We can hold tolerances as low as +/-.001 and achieve finishes as low as 16Ra.
