The Griffin House, WOW, what a special place.
Living on the east coast, in the middle of a pandemic, we booked TGH after only touring the venue via FaceTime. Any fears we had of booking a venue via FT immediately disappeared the moment we stepped on the grounds. The views of the Columbia River Gorge are truly breathtaking. Nothing comes close to comparing. The stunning views and natural beauty left our family & friends in complete awe.
Not only will the views leave you speechless, but TGH team is amazing. Marlowe & Angie truly cared about us and our special day. Their ability to manage my bridezilla

Absolutely stunning location. Everything about this venue is beautiful; when I toured the grounds I teared up and knew this is where I wanted my wedding to be. Their team was such a joy to work with; they were timely in their communications, and made all of my visions happen. I cannot recommend them enough.

This review has taken me some time to write due to the fact this experience has so much emotion attached to it. Michael & I got engaged back in September of 2019. We knew from the start we wanted to start our life together in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. I scoped out venues sites & came across the Griffin House & was immediately intrigued. I remember meeting Marlowe on a blistering January afternoon in 2020. The winter winds were insane. But through the fog & drizzle, my breath was taken away by the expansive view of the gorge. Absolutely amazing place to book your wedding. The entire staff made sure everything was prepped and ready to go for a zero stress wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and everyone loved it! I couldn't have asked for a more caring and on top of it staff that made this day perfect!

My husband and I eloped here in August of 2020. It was not the big wedding we originally envisioned when we first got engaged, but it was BETTER! in light of the pandemic we pivoted plans and decided to do something very private to exchange vows --- and this was even better than we could have imagined!! The Griffin House is truly the venue where dreams come true! Our original wedding venue cancelled on us after an already postponed date due to covid, Marlowe and The Griffin House came to the rescue and we were able to plan a wedding within a month! They were the most understanding, easy to work with, prepared and organized team. Not to mention the location is absolutely beautiful. I had my wedding here in June 2020 - right in the middle of the pandemic. Though the season was an incredibly stressful time for both us and the staff at the venue, the wedding came together perfectly! It's a family-run business on beautiful property. Would get married there again!

The Griffin House is THE most beautiful private wedding venue Ive ever seen. A flourishing new business with the most exquisite views of the Columbia river gorge. These are truly MILLION dollar views. Whether you are wanting a small intimate ceremony or larger celebration - they are here to accommodate you!
The home/venue on the property is nestled back off the road in lush canopy of greenery. A huge patio area and an even BIGGER reception area for mingling with friends and family. The house on the property is a lovely two story modern lodge with luxurious amenities. A giant kitchen for hanging

The Griffin House EXCEEDED every single expectation we had for our small winter elopement. The house was comfortably luxurious, the views spectacular, and the grounds perfectly manicured. Marlowe was the sweetest host and even drove across town in a snow storm to deliver chairs to the house for our ceremony. I can't recommend The Griffin House enough. My husband and I took a road trip to the Pacific Northwest to celebrate our two-year wedding anniversary, and The Griffin House was far and away the most gorgeous place we stayed! I have never seen views like this anywhere in the world — absolutely stunning from every angle. We had a great night’s sleep (the bed was super comfy) and got to enjoy coffee on the porch in the morning overlooking the Gorge. Thank you Griffin House for being so welcoming and such a wonderful place to spend our anniversary!

Met my best friend from childhood here for a four day mini reunion/vacation. We had a lovely stay and so enjoyed having the perfect home away from home while we explored the Hood River Gorge and all its beauty. The views from the property itself are unmatched, and we loved starting our day with a cup of coffee and a walk on the grounds before heading out for the day's adventure. So thankful for our time there. We'll be back for sure!
