We offer world class moving services at a reasonable rate. Our policy is to create a stress-free moving environment for our customers with the comfort that your belongings are safe. We use top of the line equipment to ensure your items are moved safely and efficiently. Each of our trucks comes equipped with pads, dollies, shrink wrap, tape, and tools for furniture assembly and disassembly.
In addition to household moving we also provide commercial moving services. We come equipped with all the right tools and equipment to get your office moved correctly. We apply our same work ethic when moving commercially as we do residential because we realize your office is important and needs to be moved correctly.
Along with moving your belongings we also will pack them for you as well. We have the experience to make sure your boxes are packed right so that nothing is damaged when moved. We will not only provide the boxes, but also the tape and markers to secure and label each box. We also come with wardrobe boxes to keep your clothes on hangars and wrinkle free.

About 2 weeks ago Murdocks Moving moved me back to my home in Nevada...I had been living in Chico CA. taking care of my father. He passed. The most difficult thing I have been thru, and had previously lost my mother. They were outstanding & would recommend them to everyone! Extremely caring, compassionate & understanding. They were efficient and nothing was damaged. When they arrived at my home in Nevada they had even stopped & brought me flowers. Absolutely the best moving company with hearts of gold. Again, thank you to all of you.

Hired these guys at the last minute to help move items to a 2nd story apartment. Two employees showed up, worked hard (and fast), and were VERY helpful! I cannot say enough good things about this company. If we ever need to move again in the Chico area, we will definitely use Murdock's.

I got a recommendation from a friend for Murdock’s moving company. I am very happy with the service and courtesy I received. They were punctual, good natured, professional. I paid a fair price for the job. It was a pleasure to do a move with Murdock’s. Despite my life stress and health care issues, the crew and I kept it positive and I didn’t have much stress at from the move, I’ve moved 39 times in my life and this was the most trouble free move of all. Murdock crew was friendly and helpful. We had a grand piano that needed to be moved into a small space across a Gravel driveway,. They did great and were incredibly positive even when the piano boots were missing. We were able to run to Ace hardware and still set up the piano within our paid 2hour window. Thanks so much, I now have my piano in my new home on Paradise in time for Christmas!

We had the guys at Murdock's move a large massage chair that was given to us. We were told the chair needed to be handled very gently. Murdoch's wrapped it and protected it like it was going across country. VERY impressed with their quality of service. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I can't say enough about these folks. We were in , an almost, impossible timeline to get our move completed. Murdocks was a big part of getting this move done on time. We have never had such a ,positive experience, with a move before. I want to go on and on how wonderful these folks are. We had to have three phases of this move. Murdocks came through with all of them . From the impossible task of moving a fully equipped shop of heavy equipment, to the care of dealing with a your precious China cabinet . The guys that work for Murdock's are AMAZING! Steven and Jose went above and beyond to help us move our office files and shelves back into our remodeled building. We also used Murdock's to move everything out and over to a storage facility, and that team was just as awesome. Very careful with our furniture and cargo, on time and fast!

I contacted them on Sunday had a reply and estimate by Monday am. Very responsive and reasonable prices, answered all our questions. Moving day...movers on time, very professional moved fast and carefully with our items. Set up new apartment with same care and speedy effort. They were polite and friendly. Give them a call!

They arrived on time at the storage facility in Chico, Ca.
and didn't complain once about the terrible state of the units. They wrapped and packed and loaded through the dirt and dust and when it was done the price that they quoted was the price I paid. The move would have been a nightmare without them!

These guys just finished up helping us out with a two day move in 110 degree heat up in Red Bluff in the middle of July! They were truly amazing. So positive, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile for our every need. They were very flexible with scheduling and the communication was great leading up to our moving day. It was difficult to find movers up in the RB area and they made it easy coming up this way to help us out! We really appreciate all they did for us. Hire them, you won't be sorry!

Murdock's just moved my 90-yo parents from Chico to Denver, CO, and it was a great experience. The fact that the same people were involved from end-to-end made a huge positive difference, because they knew what was on the truck and how it was packed, and they remembered where it was in the house before it was moved.
Murdock's made good on every commitment, from timing to budget, and they took great care with our items and maintained positive, friendly attitude despite the heat, load, and volume of work.

These guys are true pros. I had valuable, antique furniture to move and they handled everything with the utmost care. Murdock was awesome helping us move from Chico to Lake Almanor in the middle of the winter, in the middle of two big snow storms. We had a real quick timeline, basically one week to pack and move. The guys were great helping us pack everything in two days (2800 sq ft home). They had two bobtail trucks that they packed up on day two. On day three, they made the normally 1.25 hour trip in 3 hours because the road was covered in ice and snow. They got to our new home at 11 a.m. and were back on the road at 3 pm so they could off of highway 32 before the ice started reforming. It was an amazing 3 days

We just finished leg 3 of our long distance move (3 states!) and out of all the SNAFUS we hit along our 9 month journey, the Murdock team made this some sort of wonderful. Aces all the way, start to finish. On time, excellent communication, cheerful, polite crew members.
It started with moving things out of our massive Chico home in the wicked heat of August 2020. The items were to have gone into storage in Paradise (since Chico at the time had no units big enough). However that facility was closed, trucks were loaded, so they were patient enough to divert to a last minute arrangement in Chico

Murdocks handled our things with care, drove 1000 miles to our destination and unloaded. They were very professional and Nick treated us so well coming out several times to give us an estimate and when we were thorough we paid the same. . After hearing of so many out of state moves where the mover doesn’t show up or holds the furniture for weeks and sometimes months and doubles the prices we are so happy to refer Murdocks to all our friends and neighbors. It could not have gone smoother in an otherwise stressful time
