We have been in our current location for 9 years and have proudly served the communities of southern Charlotte and York County area. Our motto is "clean and Classic" and we live to fulfill that promise every day both in the shop, and in the work that leaves it. We employ four talented, professional, and creative artists, and we welcome you to check out each of their portfolios.
We are open six days a week with appointment availability on Sundays. We do take appointments throughout the week and also are happy to accommodate walk-in clients whenever possible. Dave is the shop owner at Wild Oats, Dave tattoos in multiple styles and has won awards for his work. All services will require a state-issued photo-ID.

Services
All services will require a state-issued photo-ID. Tattoos require the customer to have an ID that establishes their age as 18 years old or older with no exceptions. Piercings can be obtained in some cases by a minor. The consenting parent must bring an ID and other paperwork may be required in some instances.

Just got my fourth and fifth tattoo from there, and I cannot recommend this shop high enough. Easy tattooed me, and he's actually the third artist I've had there. Every worker at that shop is kind, respectful, and makes me feel at ease. There's no fake conversation or anything. The place is clean, you don't feel rushed or unimportant, it's just amazing. I love my tattoos, I loved the experience, and I will be back for more!

I went to get my first actual ear piercing other than my lower lobe. I was extremely nervous and really knew nothing about what i wanted. The lady piercer, who I unfortunately did not catch her name, was extremely nice a an overall joy to talk to. There was also another guy who watched the whole process. She was able to do my helix piercing without a problem and my daith as well. She was very efficient and fast which helped with the pain. Overall it was a great experience and will be coming back soon to get more done— totally recommend to come get your piercings here!

Love Josh! went in to get my other nostril pierced and he was patient the entire step of the way! what makes it better is that i initially had him change my piercing to a hoop and when i decided the next day that I didnt like it, he changed it to a stud for me no questions asked!
I have plans for more piercings and when the time comes I will be heading to Josh! He's the best!

Got tatted by Easy today! This was my first tattoo so I was nervous out if my mind. Easy reassured me that I’d be ok, he talked me through every step he’d take, he was super calm and confident which helped me calm down. He was unbelievably patient.
He let me know when he was about to start and once he did start he applied the needle to my skin in one spot so I’d know what it would feel like. He was so gentle that it didn’t even hurt (I was nervous for no reason). Easy tattoos fast yet his line work is super clean and it didn’t feel rushed!

I went and got my naval and my nose pierced today. The piercer, Allie was so nice and she was so quick with my piercings. They didn’t even hurt as much as I thought they would. I also met a tattoo guy named Josh and he was very cool as well. Love this place! Definitely going back!!

Arrived at the storefront and read a sign posted for no walk-ins. Left an email and called for a piercing a week ago, but got no reply still. I went somewhere else that day instead. They are complying with covid rules, so that's why the 3 star rating. I was wanting to check out the shop to see if I wanted a consultation for my tattoo, but oh well!

I had an appointment with Easy, since this was my first time going to this tattoo parlor, I didnt really have much to go off of. I was very pleased with the result, the artwork is immaculate. I've had several tattoos in the past, I think this is the best line work I've had done! I plan on going back to finish this up and making this my regular place!!! I highly recommend it! Again, everytime I come here I feel like I'm at home... I've been coming here since 2013... This is the only place in Charlotte I come to get tattooed and thr only place I recommend to others.. I've been tattooed by 3 artists there and every time I am extremely happy with the end product. I live 5 hours away in Virginia now and I still come down here to get a tattoo! That says a lot.. These guys are the best I've dealt with and I'm covered with tattoos... Very professional, great work, nice environment and not going to break the bank...

Let's start off from the moment I walked in the place 2 1/2 months ago... Chris was highly rude and almost made me walk out! He was grumpy, very short with me, and I was nervous trying to pull up a clear picture of what I wanted. Plus he had a bad personality and was in a very awful mood. He wasn't very helpful or suggesting at all. I wanted a simple quote with a small Cheshire cat eyes and grin. I'm giving 2 stars because the quote I got was nicely done. I gave a nice tip, because while I was getting it done he was nice to me and actually talked here and there.. and I was in a good

So-I went in for a nose piercing and the girl refused to allow me to have it done! I told her I had it done a few months ago but took the nose ring out almost two weeks ago and it closed up. She said to wait till two weeks. I told her I'm a day or two off from two weeks-still refused-we'll so much for going there!! One star rated so I could leave the review-I would of been willing to sign a release but she had her mind made up-well going elsewhere must not need the business!!! TY

Although, I have not had a tattoo in a few yrs., I do realize bad customer service when I see it. Seriously, if you go in and a guy named Chris approaches you (ask for someone else), he appears to be rather lazy, and to be honest his drawings are comical for a professional. I left and went a little over a mile up the st., to "TATTOO BILLS", and immediately noticed a better atmosphere and Customer Service! Phoenix, did the tat that I wanted for $120, that Chris wanted over $200 for. Don't waste your time!!!

I went to Wild Oats to have my belly button pierced about a week ago. My whole experience was not great, it was okay/good. I don't visit many tattoo parlors but Wild Oats smelled like cigarettes a bit, but overall gave off a cool vibe.

This is the most disrespectful tattoo shop that I've ever stepped foot in. They are over priced and rude as all can be. The cashier was the only pleasant person in this establishment. The tattoo artist was rude and kept cutting me off. There were 5 of us willing to give this place our business. The design was 3 inches and fairly simple. DO NOT go to this tattoo parlor.

On our anniversary trip, My husband and I decided we wanted to get tattoos. Checked out this place before coming here and so glad I did. Fantastic experience. Easy was my artist and he was great. We were able to walk right in and get tattoos (my husband and I). Showed them what I wanted and they had it drawn up in no time. Definitely should check this place out if your local. Our tattoos turned out great. Very very pleased. Thanks guys!

I have been to wild oats tattoos for my nose piercing and my previous tattoos and they have done excellent work but this was about 3-4 years ago. I decided to go by there today for another tattoo but Ethan who was going to be giving me my tattoo was very rude from the beginning so I decided to go elsewhere. I have always recommended people get their tattoos and piercings from here but will not anymore after today. I would advise the owner address this issue so he learns how to engage with prospective customers better or you will only lose more people who loved a once great place to get tattoos

Super clean and friendly. Was very welcoming and open atmosphere. Came in on vacation and have this thing of getting tattoos when I visit new place. At first I was super indecisive of what to get because nothing out here really stuck out to me so I spoke to he receptionist/piercer and he was super flexible and forward on pricing (inexpensive but great quality of work) and set me up with an artist that he felt fit for what I was asking for. the artist that did my tattoo was named easy and he literately easy to work with and super friendly and great at conversation (most artist do there own thing

My friend took me here to get my cartilage pierced. Everything was super clean and my ear (now one week later) is great. I was nervous and the guy that pierced my ear was really relaxed which made me less nervous. The piercing went well and wasn't painful at all. I got a sheet with all the info of how to keep it clean, when it should be healed, and when I could change the ring into a different ring/stud. Received a tattoo here about 4-5 months ago. Now that its healed its definitely lacking in some areas. My artist was very argumentative about what I wanted to get so I ended up having to get something completely different from what I wanted. I realize there is compromise in this business but this guy flat out said no to everything, then could seem to careless while he was actually doing the work. The end result shows his lack of caring. Maybe I was just lucky enough to be there on a bad day. But I won't be returning.
