I Get It Chiropractic opened in 2006 to give specific, scientific chiropractic care to Westminster and the surrounding communities. We're here to help your entire family, because families that get healthy together stay together. Our practice name comes from a conversation between Dr. RJ and Dr. Michelle.
I Get It Chiropractic is in the same parking lot as Carraba's Italian Grill and Advance Auto Parts, just north of Bicycle Village. Nearby, you'll see Discount Tire and Valvoline and we're right down the road from Costco. Dr. RJ was playing super league rugby in Canada when a recruiter from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA offered him a scholarship to attend chiropractic school.
Dr. Michelle was in college playing basketball on a scholarship when she had her first experience with chiropractic. A back injury occurred that left her unable to play basketball and her other main sport, tennis. For two to three months she went to medical doctors and physical therapists who all said nothing was wrong, despite that at age 22 she couldn't even bend down to put on her socks.
Chiropractors are neurological doctors that align the spine to improve your brain function. When there is a subluxation or misalignment of the spine present, it causes interference with your body's nerve system lowering the body's ability to adapt. By removing this subluxation, your body's innate intelligence will express itself, restoring your body's ability to heal itself.

This place has changed my life. As a first timer to Chiropractic medicine, Doc and his staff not only answered all my questions and made me feel at ease but they also made me feel like family. I look forward to my visits every week. They genuinely care about their patients and helping to treat all ailments both physical and emotional. So far in the last couple visits I have had, every one there has been nothing more than amazing and caring. I am pregnant and suffer from a lot of pain. I have a lot of visits ahead of me but Dr. Gelinas and the girls there show true concern, they listen, and they “get it” so to speak.
With this being said, I highly recommend this place! Especially if you’re pregnant and are seeking pain relief!

This was my first adjustment I’ve ever had and I was a little nervous going into it, not knowing what to expect. Samantha and Sophie are so kind, they really go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Dr. RJ was through with me about what he was doing and why. I immediately knew I was in good hands. 10/10. This is the place to be!
