Receive rebates of up to $9,000 for energy efficient new construction residential building. We are participating contractors in the Duke Energy Progress HERO residential new construction program. This program offers $1,000 to $9,000 in rebates to builders and developers who build energy efficient new construction residential projects in what they call the "Legacy Progress Territory".
We offer HERS Ratings (Home Energy Rating System Ratings) throughout the region. A Home Energy Rating is a requirement for many green building and energy-efficient building standards and is the nation's leading "miles-per-gallon" equivalent for homes.
A HERS Rating assigns a home a score on a scale from 0-150, with lower numbers representing less energy consumption (a HERS score of 0 represents a "zero energy home, " which produces at least as much energy as it consumes), and higher numbers representing greater energy consumption.A standard new home would receive a score of around 85, and most existing homes fall somewhere between 100 and 150.

We've had Skye and Building Performance Specialists perform both formal and informal reviews of myriad projects for many years. And to good effect. BPS is smart about building science and they convey information plainly at whatever level we require-- be it homeowner, trade person, engineer, project manager, etc. BPS is very committed to their work. We intend to continue to work with BPS for the foreseeable future. I'm glad we have them at our disposal, and I recommend very highly.

Upon asking for an estimate was told it would be $150. When I asked about some details someone named Sky began screaming that he had a thousand things to do and that he was done talking with me. As he continued to rant, I hung up on him. He obviously can't handle having any business or any customers.
