It is with excitement and gratitude that I join the Milford Dental Excellence team! I was born and raised in the city of Milford along with both of my parents and younger brother, Garrett. I was a 2009 graduate of Goshen High School. After high school I went on to attend the University of the Cumberlands where I studied biology and played varsity women's volleyball for 4 years, graduating in 2013.
I enjoy dentistry because it allows me time to interact with patients both sick and healthy. The past couple of years has given me many opportunities to grow personal relationships with my patients, many feel like old friends. I also find dentistry so rewarding by improving a patient's smile or getting them out of pain.
I am a 2002 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Dentistry and completed a one-year residency at the Denver VA Hospital. I have completed training for Complex Restorative Treatment at The Pankey Institute, along with training to surgically place and restore dental implants, and am a certified Invisalign provider.
The American Dental Association (ADA) and our team highly recommend scheduling routine dental appointments every six months. Doing so will ensure that your teeth and gums remain healthy. Going to the dentist for a dental exam is not solely about inspecting for those dreaded cavities. There are important reasons why it's recommended that you have a dental exam two times a year.

Dr Powers and the staff are the absolute best!
As a 20 year cancer survivor I have dreamed of having a beautiful white smile. The doctor and staff were professional yet personable from the front desk, to the dental chair. I was included in the plan of care, for the smile that I wanted To achieve.
I finally have a beautiful white smile and the staff shared my excitement with the results.
My sincere recommendation in reference to Milford excellence dental for their HIGH QUALITY WORK, They deserve 10 stars.

When I called, they advised that they accepted Delta Dental Insurance, so we scheduled a new pt appointment. AFTER the appointment we were told we had to pay up front and our insurance would reimburse us. Never in 15yrs have we had to do that, but we did. I recieved our EOB from Delta today and it states that this office is a "Nonparticipating… Dentist". It included a check for less than half of what we paid up front. I have never had to pay for a cleaning as we get 2 free cleanings a year. I'm very disappointed. I called the office and all they could say is that they were sorry, they didn

I have been a client at MDE for years! I absolutely loved Linnie and when she retired I started seeing Ruthie. Both have been so sweet! Knowing this is a family dentistry I knew that they would do great with kids but was hopeful my daughter would let them do her cleaning (she is only 3 yo). Ruthie was so amazing with her!! My dentist permanently closed due to COVID and I was already driving 45 minutes to see him just because of my past fear and traumatizing dental experiences. So when I was recommend by a friend to try Milford Dental Excellence, to say I was anxious was an understatement. From my first appointment even with a cleaning the hygienist was very gentle… and very accommodating to whatever she had to in order for me to be at ease. I even told Dr. Reineck that because of my experience in a high turn around in my past dentists that I did not even want to change amongst the three dental providers there

So glad to have found them...I had no regular dentist here and lost a big filling close to the nerve giving me pain...they got me in quickly and fixed the problem. Dr. Powers has been my dentist for several years now. She makes me almost look forward to going to the dentist. :) I've had plenty of bad experiences in the past, but Dr. Powers makes me feel relaxed and comfortable, and the work I've had done in the office has all gone smoothly. The hygienists there are wonderful, too!!

My family has been going to this practice since we moved to Ohio when our child was 2 years old, and even though we've moved again further away and that child can now pilot a plane, we wouldn't dream of changing practices. It is true that entire staff is expertly qualified and professional, but what really sets them apart is because the whole team- reception to billing to dental hygienists to dentists- exudes warmth and generosity and genuine concern. It really does give you a sense of confidence to know they treat each client with the same attention and care they'd treat their own

After 8 years of skipping out on the dentist, I finally made it into Milford Dental Excellence, and I'm relieved I did. Dr. Rieneck and Jen have taken very good care of me through a cleaning, a root canal, and 9 fillings, all while helping me through my dentist anxiety and fear of needles. I wish I had known about MDE sooner!

This community based business feels more like "home" than a mere Dental business. The staff is top notch from the minute you walk in to the time you leave. I have had extensive work done over the past two years. I had been to another Dentist who wanted to cut corners concerning this work and I went to get another opinion. I am glad I found this dental practice as the work was done correctly and on a timely basis. I received an "honest" estimate and the follow up went over and above what you would expect. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I am SCARED of the dentist. I had a horrible experience at another dentist and didn't go to the dentist for years. A friend of mine recommended this dentist. They are so kind! From the minute you walk in the door you know the business is ran the right way and they take great care of you. I've had four fillings so far. I will be back!
