The "Honey Bear" is our newest addition to the sleuth. The cabin is laid out like a studio. There is a sleeping area with a queen bed, a full bath off the main room, a nice living area with a couch, flat panel TV, and a full kitchen. If your stay amounts to more than $500 then a deposit in the amount of 30% of your bill is required (ex: If your bill was $840.00 your deposit would be $252.00).
The "Panda Pad" has been revamped into an 8 person cabin. We have combined the previous Panda Pad with the former Welcome Den area to create a very spacious 3 bedroom cabin. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms with 1 queen size bed, 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 twin bed, and a twin bed tucked in a sleeping area.
Spending time in the "Kodiak Kastle" is a unique experience and some special people have stayed in the Kodiak over the years. From the branching trees holding up the beams to the log and stone tower housing the spiral stairway and the large front porch and entry, there's a lot to catch your eye in this house.
The "Pavillion" is a great place to bring the family together. Relax with your loved ones under tall timbers and watch the camp fire or eat your favorite meal that you just grilled up on the grills available for use. New in 2016! We have built a brand new sauna. Whether you're chilled in the cold winter months or you just need some time to relax and unwind the sauna is the perfect escape.

This is by far my favorite Wisconsin getaway! The cabins are absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful, elegant, rustic decor! We stayed in the Kodiak Kastle. There is even an outdoor sauna! The hospitality will far exceed your expectations! The owners will make you feel like friends coming to visit. There is such a warmth here, feels like "home".

We had a great weekend stay the owners were always friendly always there if we needed anything. The cabin was enjoyable. I recommend there cabins to anyone for a good stay there open year round so anytime is always a good time to get away and enjoy life in these cabins. There was deer everywhere and also saw ghost deer in the woods

Awesome place to stay for the rustic feel & complete get away from home, but yet the comforts of home. Very sweet hosts. Very clean, well kept cabins. Troy & Bobbi will go above & beyond to be sure things meet your expectations. Great Northwoods feel all around the cabin resort. Loved seeing the natural habitat of the critters black squirrels, deer, winter birds, roaming freely all around the grounds.

An amazing setting with truly amazing, hand-crafted (by the owners no less) cabins. We loved how clean our cabin was and that we could bring our dogs (for a small extra charge).
The cabin we stayed in (The Grizzly) was so cozy with its hot water heat, we never noticed how cold and damp it was outside. I can only imagine how fun it would be to stay here in the winter, with snow falling and blanketing the beautiful grounds

I love Wisconsin. My girlfriend and I are from the East Coast, and I guess the state reminds me of a weird woodsy New England. My girlfriend is a genius for finding the Big Bear Hideaway: it blows my mind that I am writing the second yelp review for the place.
