Jeffrey Court's story is one of entrepreneurial spirit, love of craft, and dedication to innovation. Founded in 1991 by Jim and Janice Lawson, they set out to bring their love for hand-painted tiles to the mainstream market. In true innovator style, the Lawson's discovered a way to permanently affix hand-painted designs as decals on ready-made tiles.
Needless to say, Jeffrey Court tiles grew in popularity. Soon homebuilders were looking to include Jeffrey Court in their designer upgrade options. It was at that point that the Trade division of Jeffrey Court was born. Today, Jeffrey Court now operates two distinct divisions; Trade/Designer and Retail Sales whose combined SKU count is over 3,000.

In addition to the new handcrafted glass mosaics, we wanted to provide product options for those who prefer a modern design schema.
Chapter 4 Via is a re-imagination of Latin inspired traditional hand painted/crafted tiles. In this case Via came "by way of" merging our previous collections "Olde California" and "Antico Portuguese" into a more authentic Latin inspired line. From inception our aim was to create: warm and inviting meeting spaces, outdoor lounging areas, and contemporary designs that pay homage to retro craftsmanship.

We purchased Jeffrey Court's Callalily White Mosaic Tile from Home Depot and installed it in our bathroom floor. After installation, we noticed that several of the tiles were discolored and it looked horrible. We had to pay our contractor $1,000 in labor to cut out the bad sheets and replace them with the correct shade of white.

Purchased Jeffrey Court Mosiac Tile from their Atlas, Chapter 17 line, through one of their authorized distributors, and was extremely disappointed in the quality of craftsmanship. I understand the crackle finish will have some minor discoloration but at $35.00+ a sq ft, I expected better. Three of the Mosiac sheets were unacceptable and the remaining six sheets had tile pieces that were crooked, chipped and/or not lined up to the other tile pieces. I returned the items and was dismayed that Jeffrey Court charged me a 20% restocking fee!!! Now, I can understand if I returned excess items that

Recently I worked with tiles from this company.
It was the 3X6 white tile, just like the one made by Daltiles.
The only difference is the packaging. Each tile has two strips of some plastic, to prevent scratching, I guess.
On white tile it's not easy to see and it took some time to remove it from each tile. However, during grouting, some of that stuff was still there and it got mixed with grout. I had to remove many pieces that were sticking out of the grout lines.
Waste of time, tedious work, DON'T BUY THIS TILE.

I purchased Jeffrey Court glass/tile mosaics from Home Depot and after installed by professional experienced company, the glass started cracking a few days after. Home Depot told me to contact manufacturer which I did. I brought 3 different professionals and they all said it's a manufacturing problem with the tile.
After calling Jeffrey Court multiple times every single day for several weeks trying to get through to the person in charge, they promised me reimbursement for the cost of the tiles, roughly 36 sq. ft. It wasn't much and the labour was the big expense but I appreciated the offer and
