I dont like the way the front desk is organized. I make an appointment to have ONLY ears checked and they assumed that my puppy hasn't had vaccinations. Well, I took my dog to the VETCO clinic (yes Vetco a Mobil clinic at Petco)
So I said no to the almost $400 they wanted .
Went to Columbia vet waited an hour an I was in and out.
I will say that Dr. ashi (last 4 letters in her name was ashi) is a great veterinarian

I have been there one time. Tried to make a second appointment and was told that they needed pay upfront because I was a new patient. They couldn't find my name or dogs name anywhere. Ok so it's all about the money. I get it in Covid times we are all trying to just get through it but really?? Whatever happened to caring, quality professional service.? I will be driving to Nehalem vet. Not fancy or big just people who will see my senior dog and treat us with respect.

I drove all the way from Portland! I've had the best experience at any vet so far they're so kind and considerate and make sure to go over everything and really listen to your concerns. I don't mind driving 3 hours to come to this vet at all it takes me a little longer because I go highway 30 route. The Portland vets aren't taking any new patients and they quote people extremely high like outrageously high right now. The vet that I saw I don't remember her name she was amazing so kind to my dog Radar who was a rescue and has a temperament due to being scared. Her and the vet tech were just so amazing

We have found Safe Harbor to be very professional and the staff patient and kind. I have had waits in the area of no less than 2 to 3 hours! This was before Covid. I have never had to wait longer than 30 minutes and staff kept us updated in the parking lot when asked. That was nice! My Norfolk terrier required surgery and the Veterinarian made me feel very secure about anesthesia and the surgery. I have complete confidence in Safe Harbor and their fees are in-line with what I would expect for quality care. Thank you Safe Harbor.

I drive from Tacoma WA to see Dr Haase. I wouldn't trust my pets to any other vet. She is a kind and caring vet who truly cares for the pets that she sees. She will not run any test/procedure that is not needed. She will not nickel and dime you. I highly recommend going here! Pictures for cuteness! And for remembering my mini schnauzer, I lost my baby girl in Oct 2020 to kidney failure. Dr Haase and her team made this heartwrenching time easier to get through. Thank you!!

I was happy they were able to get my dog in and help with his burst abscess as we are not normal patients. However, almost $500 later, I had to take my dog back to our vet to have him redo everything safe harbor did because they did not give him a sedative and I had to pay even more. They place was very clean and staff was friendly. Very disappointed with the results though

This saddens me to write this as before I have always had a wonder time at Safe Harbor until recently. I called in because my dog has a swollen sweat gland filled with water. I was in a few months prior and was told by the vet this is common and a easy fix with a poke to drain the water and advised me to call in if it happens again. Well I noticed… it was back and so I called and spoke with the receptionist. I told her I may need to talk to the vet, but maybe she could help me. I explained what was going on regarding last appointment to now and also that due to the government shut down my
