This past weekend I traveled from New York to Virginia to purchase my dirt bike from Cycle World and could not have been more pleased with my experience. I was charged for a motorcycle battery and it was never replaced. I brought my Suzuki burgman to this shop which took 4 weeks get an ideal what was wrong. It took another 2 weeks to replace my solenoid. Pick up and return drop off cost me over 500 dollars an no new battery. This place reaks of rip off. Buy beware

Yesterday Cycle World and Marty sold me my first brand new bike, a 2021 Kawasaki Vaquero. Marty made sure I left that shop happy with my purchase. I already kept my previous bike serviced by them. His salesmanship was very friendly and courteous. We had a small delay in the process, but Marty kept making sure I was okay and in the loop regarding what's going. Thank you for my bike.

Thoroughly useless customer services. The best service I got in my entire experience with them was the guy who delivered my bike up to Yorktown for me. I waited in the showroom for almost 20min when I went to buy the bike because at least 3 people told me my sales rep was "on his way" and never informed him I was there.
Then, they misidentify the model year of the bike I'm buying and I have to tell them about the MSRP difference.

I bought a new bike a couple months ago. The dealership fees were kind of ridiculous but I couldn't find the bike anywhere else so I didn't have much choice. I was there for FIVE HOURS. I would have left and bought the bike somewhere else if I hadn't already signed all the paperwork. When they started it up the check engine light was flashing. Great selection back in the gear/parts department. I was undecided on a helmet, they talked through the different options, pros and cons, and ultimately helped me make the right decision. I have been riding for years but there are many options/designs on hand and they were able to set me up with the proper lid for my bike and riding style. Also got sized for a jacket and got a Bluetooth set up for the wife and I. We left with everything set up and ready to ride. Competitive pricing and a military discount to boot! Had a 2009 rmz in several times was going to let this service center repair the whole bike to 100% but when they called me stating 4000 to rebuild plus taxes and they needed deposit. I’d was blown away knowing I researched the part cost and was know where near then I finished full rebuild of top end. “Months later”. Needless to say my assessment was 250$ after completion of rebuild I brought it back in for valve adjustment and was charged 126.some change. Not all that stoked on Cycle World. I bought a dirt bike inner tube and didn't need it as it was a beading issue. Never even opened the box. But Cycle World has a policy where they don't do returns on inner tubes, citing customer integrity and product integrity return issues. No one advised me of this policy upon purchase and I think the parts guys could do better in advising customers when there is a no return policy on an item

I had used another Motorcycle Repair shop in Norfolk to service my Yamaha and it was returned with more problems than when I dropped it off. I took it to Cycle World and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Especially Bob. He was awesome. My bike runs better than it ever has. It's like riding a new bike. I will use Cycle world exclusively for all repairs, parts and when I buy a New Bike. Thanks Guys, you went above and beyond. Awesome people!

Took our jet ski in for annual service. Quick and easy. The only thing was service department called offering us 2 different types of battery replacement, we chose our choice but it was replaced with their choice. Not quite satisfied with that. We didn't realize until we got home. Called back and was told the battery was out of stock which we thought it was odd that they offered both choices on the phone at first. Just saying

So I ask how much to diagnose my jet ski. 96.00 dollars they reply. I say no problem. I pick up jet ski and the bill comes to 112.00. I ask why is it more than I was told. Shop supplies they said. I said what shop supplies. They couldn't answer. Be careful. They are tacking this on to every bill whether shop supplies are used or not. Typical sheister service company. *** They actually had the nerve to find out who wrote this review by pulling the ticket and calling me on the telephone about my review. Went for a "free inspection" and turns out the inspector has his own rules for inspecting. The service guy tried to show me on the board why my bike failed, but nowhere did the board state that my turn signals have to be sticking out. So the inspector asks me if I want him to just reject it?? Like I had much of a choice. They just claim that flush mounted turn signals aren't allowed, even though I can't receive a ticket for it. Also, the bike is a 2013 and hasn't failed an inspection so far.

I had an awesome experience here today buying my new bike. The staff is very laid back and willing to answer all of you questions and needs. They don't push you to buy and let you move along at your own pace. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly so feel free to ask them all of your questions. If you are looking for anything in particular make sure you ask about it because it may be in the back showroom. Lots of quality bike to choose from here. You won't be disappointed. Sure they were happy to sell us an overpriced ATV but it when it came down to servicing our 4-year warranty all the sudden nobody knows how to return a phone call, and it's always will get back to you.... For months and now it finally broke down. Go anywhere else, run anywhere else. The best part is that this is been ongoing ever since the kid that dropped it off busted something in the gears by cramming it in without making sure the brake was actually pressed in.

Avoid this place! Brought my R6 in there for an oil change and to fix a blinker light. They charged me $270, claiming they did a short service on the bike (which I did not want) and claiming it took them an hour to fix the blinker light ($77 an hour labor rate). The light was literally one wire beneath the seat, under a cover held down by 2 screws! It was a 15 minute job max! I initially told them I would just replace it myself and they told me if I wanted them to do it it would only take them a few minutes.... I wish I had checked out all the other reviews before I went here. Please take

Wow, I've never had such a hard time spending my money in all my life . I emailed cycle world prior to my visit to let them know what bike and style I was interested in. After non receiving anything from the dealership I decided to walk into the store and look for the bike I wanted. I was approached by a young guy, and I asked if they had a bike in stock I was looking for. He didn't, but told me he could ask the owner about finding one.
