Bertelli's skate shop was established in 1969 by Harold Passerini (far right) and Angelo Bertelli. Both were professional athletes and hard workers who many people respected and admired. Harold played Division I hockey at Michigan State before playing semi professional hockey for the Springfield Indians.

Our Women’s hockey team from Utah flew to Boston for a tournament. When they landed they found out the airline had forgotten to put their sticks on the plane. The women only had a few hours to hit the ice and had no sticks. Bertelli’s Skate Shop found out about their dilemma and opened their doors after hours and sold sticks at a discount to help our women take the ice. Their willingness to help us out of a jam was greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I went to Bertelli's Skate Shop to have some new skates sharpened that I recently bought. The staff there was very friendly. The service was great. I was in and out. It was very inexpensive to get my skates sharpened. I would definitely go back there again in the future. I totally recommend this place.

These guys know hockey equipment; a great family run place. I grew up playing for 15 years, most of my equipment from Bertelli's. Went back recently for a friend to get a nice pair of skate's and they've still got it. New and used equipment available, they'll do their best to help you get the right gear for the right price.
