Experiencing occasional anxiety is a normal part of life. However, people with anxiety disorders frequently have intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Often, anxiety disorders involve repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror that reach a peak within minutes (panic attacks).
Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder. It causes a person to have cycles of extreme mood changes that go beyond normal ups and downs. A person with this disorder will have periods of feeling joyful, energized, and excited (called mania). These are followed by periods of feeling sad and depressed. For this reason, it's also called manic depression.
Mood disorder is a mental health class that health professionals use to broadly describe all types of depression and bipolar disorders. Children, teens, and adults can have mood disorders. However, children and teens don't always have the same symptoms as adults. It's harder to diagnose mood disorders in children because they aren't always able to express how they feel.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a mental illness that causes repeated unwanted thoughts or sensations (obsessions) or the urge to do something over and over again (compulsions). Some people can have both obsessions and compulsions. OCD isn't about habits like biting your nails or thinking negative thoughts.
A sleep disorder can affect your overall health, safety and quality of life. Sleep deprivation can affect your ability to drive safely and increase your risk of other health problems. Some of the signs and symptoms of sleep disorders include excessive daytime sleepiness, irregular breathing or increased movement during sleep.

I love this office & Dr. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I have been going to this office for years! Dr. Sheikha is very friendly, supportive and knowledgeable.
The office staff go above and beyond.
Due to covid and short staffed they are always quick to respond and resolve any issues they may come up.
I had my RX sent to wrong pharmacy (due to my insurance no longer accepted at the pharmacy), they fixed it right away!
They also are amazing at working with you when scheduling. Due to their new policy they were so kind to explaining the process and we worked together to make sure all my appointments

This is just a friendly thank you for all of your assistance in this refill request. Valerie, thank you so much for your kind words and phone call. You are a real asset! Honestly, if it wasn't for you I would still be trying to attain my medication. You are the reason I am continuing to be a patient at this practicing provider. A staff can make all the difference in what and which clients remain in a physicians business. Thank you for everything! Forever in your debt, your client

I would HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone, they’re not only accessible, professional and had the utmost respect for the patient. I can not say enough about Dr Sheihka and associates. Please do not let other reviews hinder your decision. I highly recommend!!!!

This practice is an absolute JOKE or maybe its some scam/fraud. When you call to make an appointment they direct you to their website. When trying to make an appointment on their website they ask questions like are you a new patient anongst other questions and then you get a message saying they'll call within 24 to 48 hours with a scheduled appointment. After 72 hours I called and left a message. After another 48 hours of hearing nothing I leave a review and contact my son's pediatrician for a different recommendation. Apparently they're in cahoots because she insist dr sheikha can help. Pediatrician

I don't speak on matters unless it's absolutely needed or unless it can contribute to the greater good of people but this is an exception would recommended finding some other professional(s) to help you. The lady at the front desk has been impatient to where it leaves a mark of unprofessional-ism. I am doing my part and everything in my power to focus and they haven't given some of my medication in weeks. I feel like I'm not taken seriously at all. =(
Thank you for reading this , hope you have a nice day.

For days I had been trying to contact their office for information on refills. (This was around September 12th or 13th or so.)
The woman who emailed me regarding that I couldn't get refills without seeing the doc kept repeating herself over and over in her emails. I didn't even know I needed to do a new visit until I ran out of my meds, because nobody told me.
"That's standard practice." she told me. That's fine, I get that. But to us, the patient, not all of us just know that. I wasn't ever told I needed to do that and since my meds were working fine I figured I didn't need to see or speak to

DO NOT GO HERE. The receptionist is rude and states they are short staffed and very busy. The doctor does not return phone calls to pharmacists. They do not fill maintenance medications in a timely fashion thus causing harm to their patients.

They made a mistake refilling my prescription after I had paid for my app. That’s fine people make mistakes. I call up there to get it corrected and spoke to the office manager she interrupted me two times. I asked her nicely to please stop interrupting me so I could explain my issue. She then proceeded to tell me that “actually I had interrupted her” and that “they had let go of the person named Brandy that filled my prescription. So she couldn’t do anything about it, till I spent another $100 for another appointment next month. Because I already picked up my prescription that they filled

Extremely difficult to work with and disorganized staff. You cannot call the office and get through to anyone for help. A voicemail message sends you to the patient portal. When leaving a message there you get one in return that tells you to go to the main web page to leave a message. When doing that days later I received an unprofessional voicemail from Dr. Sheikha. Subsequently appointments have been made that were never discussed or approved by me and request for payment sent for said appointment time I did not confirm or approve. No doctor office should conduct business with patients in this

I was supposed to have a 4:45 call that was forgotten about then called the office at 4:55 and phones went straight to voicemail as if it were after hours even though it was not. Not exactly the type of service one might hope for. The doc has always been very helpful and kind if only one can reach her

Who the heck is this doctor? Does he even exist? I waited 3 months to get my son into see him and both appointments we saw only a nurse who did nothing but prescribe meds the first visit and up the dosage the second visit. We haven't spent more than a total of 20 minutes seeing this nurse and both times we were there, the doctor's office door was open and all lights off. I paid money to see a psychiatrist who apparently never shows up for work and now, due to my son being misdiagnosed and given meds to treat his misdiagnosis, he's currently being treated at a mental health facility

Drs are great but the receptionist is horribly rude! I have clients that come and I take them to their appointments. We are usually early & we were just waiting for the appointment. & the receptionist screams " We are on lunch til 1pm & rolls her eyes." Honestly, she could have said it better. Or kindly told us we could wait in the waiting area. Also, when making appointments, her tone of voice and how she treats you makes you feel like you are an inconvenience to her.Management should definitely warn her to be more polite.

The Dr. is fine with no issues from him, but the receptionist is very rude person and seems to get way too stressed when someone calls the office. Makes it uncomfortable to have to call for refills and general information.
