Folklore Flowers is a floral design studio in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Primarily a Door County wedding florist, we also provide specialty cut fresh flowers for events of all sizes in Northern Door County and the Sturgeon Bay area. We source local, in-season and organic flowers & greenery for our Door County weddings & events whenever possible.
The majority of cut flowers in the United States are imported, and we love to support local growers and celebrate sustainability, our local community & fair trade. As floral designers, we are deeply inspired by the wildly romantic & natural beauty of Door County. We are blessed to call Northeast Wisconsin our home, and we excitedly share the rustic elegance of our peninsula.

Services
Wedding flowers are always one-of-a-kind and catered specifically to the individual couple. As our focus is centered around local weddings, we do not run a traditional flower shop. Instead, we create our designs from our private floral design studio. Weddings are our sweet spot, and we would love the opportunity to work with you and make your unique vision come to life.

Carly is incredible. We had a very basic idea of what we hoped our wedding florals would look like, and Carly went above and beyond (I'm talking Pinterest-level perfect). She worked within our budget to produce a lovely collection including a bridal bouquet, garlands, boutonnieres and corsages. Her vision is stunning. We could not be happier with the end result. Carly was such a dream to work with and our wedding flowers turned out better than I could have imagined! She worked with us for both our small, 2020 elopement and our larger 2021 celebration and she nailed my vision both times! She has such a knack for making the flowers look beautiful and elegant while also looking natural and effortless. I even mentioned that my late grandmother was named Rosemary and that incorporating that into the bouquets could be a nice touch, and Carly remembered that little detail almost two years after that conversation and executed it beautifully.

Carly and I got to work together through an organized styled shoot with Rachel at Pink Door Events and the whole process from start to finish was great. She took into account our personal style for inspiration for our wedding florals, and I got to trust her with full creative liberty to create stunning pieces that were on the money with the rest of our stylistic choices! Very responsive, and pricing that was also so reasonable. She also brought in floral selections you don’t find everywhere, like these beautiful white poppies that took my breath away. Cannot recommend enough for your wedding

Carly did a fantastic job with our flowers!! She really nailed the wildflower, natural look which completely fit our wedding vibe. She was super fun and easy to work with. She put together my flower crown the night before the wedding and I couldn't believe how perfect it was!! It made my bride look really come together. Carly also helped put together the center pieces even though they didn't have to do with her flowers. She was overall helpful and made us feel like our wedding day was really important! If you want beautiful, unique and creative flowers for your wedding or event, you should absolutely look to Folklore Flowers. I gave Carly and Sally a budget, a few things I love and a few things I don't love, and they came up with the most beautiful arrangements. All the bouquets were amazing, they perfectly created the shotgun shell boutonnieres my husband loved, and they made an already handmade wooden arbor more beautiful with the most stunning floral arrangement. And to top off all the beauty the flowers brought to our special day, Carly and Sally were an absolute dream to work with!

After seeing a "moody fall" wedding spread from Folklore Flowers on their Instagram, I reached out to Carly for flowers for my early October wedding in Egg Harbor. From the early stages of communicating through the day of, Carly was very easy to work with --- super pleasant, communicative, adaptable, and clearly in sync with my design vision. The ladies at Folklore Flowers are so talented and wonderful to work with! Gorgeous field-to-vase flowers from their farm right in the center of Door County. I'm really happy to be able to support a local, sustainably grown, organic flower farm! I can't wait for warm weather to hit so the roadside stand to is open for the season!
