Both of us are native to Aquebogue, Long Island, New York and love everything about this area. We both grew up in farm families here and have 2 grown children that are with their significant others and have 2 granddaughters. We have been renting out our waterfront vacation rental cottages and suites to Individuals and Families, since 1994.

Had the pleasure of spending the weekend with my family here on 10/22. John was there when we came in and as well as to send us off. The tranquil well kept cottage on the beautiful farm was amazing. Waking up and stepping outside to the beautifully maintained yard along the Peconic was priceless. Can't wait to return next year.

Beautiful and serene property. Super friendly and welcoming owners, John and Sandy. They keep the property nice and clean. Each cottage is like a mini home with a backyard and they are well-kept lawns and gardens. Some of the cottages are by the waterfront and the others are welcome to sit by the water as well. The pictures speak for a thousand words. I will be back.

Such a peaceful setting. We rented Cottage 6 - the one bedroom. Cute and cozy decor. The grounds are lovely, with lounge chairs and picnic table behind each cottage. There are also lounge chairs at the waterfront. And kayaks, paddleboards and canoes available to use for free. The waterway is peaceful and quiet for kayaking. It is a very short ride into Mattituck and other areas. We would definitely give this a 5 star rating.

We enjoyed our stay at the J&S Reeve Cottages. Sandy was accommodating and responsive, as we had to change our plans last minute. The grounds were stunning and very well kept. We enjoyed playing bocce ball in the yard in the evenings, as well as having access to a grill for cooking out. The cottage itself was clean; however, it could use some updates (the couch and beds have seen better days) and amenities (toilet paper, garbage bags) given the nightly cost to stay. Love this place! Its a place of peace and tranquility especially the waterfront cottages in the morning sunshine ☀️ Sandy and John are fantastic hosts and their property is in immaculate We have visited these cottages 4 times in the last year and every time we leave we wish we had booked a longer stay!!! I spent two lovely days at John & Sandy's cottages in Aquebogue.
John & Sandy are very welcoming & friendly hosts.
It's beautiful here, very peaceful, & just what I needed.
The cottage was clean & cozy, & had everything you could possibly need available.
Although I did not make use of them, kayaks, canoes, & paddle boards are available for some fun on the creek...maybe next time!

Omg such a great place to spend time enjoying the gorgeous scenery, meet new friends and experience fun times with paddleboarding, canoeing and kayaking!!! All included !! You seriously will not find such an amazing place to vacation where all of these amenities are included in your package deal:)) My niece and nephew had a fabulous time not to mention my puppy Kole! The cottages are extremely cozy, comfortable, spacious and very clean! I will without a doubt be going back during the Fall. John and Sandy are such great people and are there for anything you may need. Great time :)

This place was just the perfect remedy to the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A perfect getaway with the family. It’s peaceful, picture-perfect, the cottages were clean and comfortable, and the grounds are well-maintained. The owners were gracious and friendly. The surrounding country, with its numerous vineyards, farms, and the nearby South Jamesport Public Beach are enough to fill your days while you’re there. I will recommend this place to all my family and friends. I wouldn’t mind going back!

I was looking for a place for our summer family vacation and found J & S Reeve Summer Cottages on the internet. It was a perfect setting for us and we were also able to bring our pet dog Mochi with us! Peaceful, beautifully landscaped with a homey feeling to it. The cottages are so clean and the kitchen is complete with cooking and eating… utensils, including wine glasses! I was able to cook and bake as if I was home and my children loved it! A most charming property of cottages in a quiet cove.. Beautifully landscaped.. Tucked away off the beaten track.. The North Fork of Long Island had a great vibe with all the vineyards and coves to kayak and canoe... A great alternative to the crazy traffic and hustle bustle and ridiculous attitude of the South Fork.. The ocean on South Fork is still spectacular but it's a easy ride to go and come back...

Peaceful, quite, and welcoming. You don't have to go far to relax is what I learned this vacation. Sandy and John were very welcoming and as newcomers made us feel very comfortable. I highly recommend any cottage, the best part was having a balcony to come out on in the mornings to have some coffee and eat breakfast as well as lighting up some candles at night. My mother and I can't wait to come back soon!

Not only were the owners wonderful to rent from, they were attentive to our needs and accommodated us in every single way possible. A fantastic find! We were looking for a place to rent on Peconic Bay and stumbled across J and S Reeve Cottages while searching. We were so pleased with everything. The cottage was so pristine clean on arrival, the grounds magnificent, the amenities perfect! John and Sandra were always available if we needed anything. This is perfect for families with or without children. One of the best parts was our boat being docked right out front! There is a washer and dryer on the grounds, but I wish I knew I needed quarters ahead of time. But John came to the rescue and opened the box and got me the quarters
