I was in town for a wedding and had my hair and makeup done here. I thought both were done very well by Natalie, and overall were what I asked for (needed to make some minor changes myself). Overall, I liked how both my hair and makeup turned out, I thought the staff were all super friendly and outgoing, and everything was reasonably priced.

On the fourteenth day after my second vaccination, I knew the first thing I wanted was to make sure I had an appointment for a haircut. I came across StyleBar on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it had great reviews, was close to me, and had a direct link to online booking. I wasn't familiar with the stylists, so I based my appointment off time availability. I ended up with Nadia and she was the best! I highly recommend.

Bryan Goddard is a freaking artists! He takes the time to listen to what you envision for your hair and then professionally suggests options and ideas! He is absolutely amazing and I won't go anywhere else. In fact my entire family now uses Bryan as their hair stylist. Book your appointment now as his calendar fills up quickly. I had a balayage done with Natalie R and I am very happy with the outcome. I had a balayage previously with a different stylist and was not pleased with how the blending was not natural and how some bottom layers didn't appear colored at all. Natalie took the time to listen, acknowledged my concerns, offered suggestions, and ultimately did an excellent job. She is truly a balayage specialist!

I have gone to Natalie a few times now for my cuts and balayages and every time I'm so happy with my hair! She always listens to my ideas about how I'd like my hair and delivers every time! I feel completely comfortable talking with her about what I want/ don't want in my styles and I have never been disappointed. Definitely recommend styleBar and Natalie. Plus it's a super cute modern salon with awesome smelling products.

I have been here twice and loved it both times. Natalie did an amazing job taking my hair from highlights with roots to a fresh bleach and tone. Everyone is so nice and accommodating, providing beverages while you get your hair done, and they sell great products. I found my place here and am never leaving!

StyleBar always continues to wow me every time I go in. I'm a natural blonde and color my hair red/rose gold/strawberry blonde dependent on the season and Jessica is ALWAYS sure to walk me through the care I need to implement on my hair as well as knowledge of products. They are constantly bringing in new and improved products into the salon and always have an educator there to jump in and help. You can tell that this salon's stylist work together and not against each other, which you can find in a lot of places. I feel at home here and as a lot of women know, certain salons can be intimidating

I gave up on this place. I wanted to come here as it is literally 2 blocks from my place and it has good reviews, but it's more hassle than what is worth.
Attempt 1: I walked in on a Saturday - there were two people working chairs. I hang out for 5 min, nobody says even hi. I finally go to one of the people working there, and he flippantly tells me that he is booked for the day. Great, is there anybody else? He doesn't know. Person working the other chair doesn't even look at me. I leave.
Attempt 2: I realize I need to make an appointment and not just walk in. Fine, I download

I absolutely LOVE StyleBar! I've lived in Charlotte for two years and haven't found a hair salon I'm crazy about. I had a Groupon and figured StyleBar was close to my apartment, I would give it a try. They completely won me over! Connie did an absolutely amazing job on my highlights and haircut. I showed her a couple pictures of what I wanted and she asked some questions about past times I've had highlights and the end product was gorgeous. She was so thorough and really took her time, I felt like she truly cared about the end product and me coming out with a good experience

Natalie did my hair for a special event. She listened carefully to my vision and beautifully brought it to fruition. I visited Alex at StyleBar for the first time last week for lash extensions, and the entire experience was above-and-beyond my expectations! When you walk in, the salon/studio is very chic AND still manages to be (thanks to the friendly staff) extremely comfortable, welcoming, and unpretentious.
