Waldo Smith, owner of Waldo Smith Locksmith, LLC began his journey as a locksmith in the summer of 1994 at the tender age of 16 years old with his grandfather Waldo Smith, Sr. What originally began as a hobby for Waldo Smith, Sr. became an official business after the Smith family business, Crescent Milling Co., closed its doors in 1987.
Sadly, in 2008, Waldo Sr. passed away, but he left behind a legacy that his grandson has continued to build upon. For the two years following Waldo Sr.'s passing, Waldo III worked as the only employee with his grandmother, Maurine, who continued to maintain the paperwork aspects of the business. With nearly 30 years of knowledge and experience, Waldo Smith Locksmith, LLC has continued to grow and expand to multiple locations.

I am so glad that I researched whether a Locksmith can do a Key Fob replacement. My elderly mom (non technology savvy) accidentally washed the key and didn't know what to do. I was able to call Waldo Smith (from Texas), given them the details, and they were able to get everything up and running in a couple of days. My mom forgot the instructions that the locksmith gave her and they were patient in re-explaining the details. Thanks Waldo Smith, I can't tell you how much you really helped my family out.

Great service! I was locked out of my Range Rover and lost the metal key to get in, and the FOB got wet so was not working. I called the dealership and they told me it could cost a few THOUSAND dollars to get in without the metal key because they may damage my vehicle to gain access. Seemed ridiculous coming from the dealership. I called Waldo Smith instead and they set me up to have someone come to my house. Nick came out to Raleigh and got into my vehicle and programmed new FOBS within 5 minutes, then quickly cut me new metal keys incase the battery ever died. I paid well under what the dealership
