Located in Kansas City and established in 1953, Byrd's Dance & Gymnastics provides a solid foundation in dance and gymnastics to students of all ages. Our caring, dedicated and well-trained staff works hard to make sure your child's dance and/or gymnastic experience is a positive one! They also have the opportunity to perform on a professional stage in our annual dance recital, which is held each year in June.

Services
Students learned tap and ballet on the hardwood floors of the living room, with my grandmother providing music for classes on the family piano. As enrollment increased and the living room became too small, my grandfather, a carpenter by trade, turned the basement into a dance studio - and "The Top Hat Dancing School" was born!
There is a 10% discount for second child in same family (discount applies to lowest tuition). We ask that you notify the front desk if your child will be dropping a class, otherwise we will continue to bill you for classes in which your child is enrolled. We are committed to providing a fun and safe environment in which students can learn and develop their talents.
