Maria has been cutting hair for over 20 years. She had always enjoyed working with hair and decided to go to school at Academy of Hair Design to learn the trade. After that, Maria worked for Supercuts as a stylist and gained valuable experience in the various styles of hair cutting. In 2001 she opened her own salon, 'Top Cuts' which was originally located by the old Gottschalks in Redding.
