Established in 1944 by R.J. Teague, Teague Lumber Company is considered to be the elite lumberyard of Fort Worth. R.J.'s goal was always to "sell quality products at a fair price." He was a Christian gentleman, who was very active and a faithful steward in his church. His favorite Bible scripture was Romans 8:31; "If God be for us, who can be against us?" R.J. retired at the young age of 97.

I have been dealing with Teague Lumber for years, they are without a doubt, the best lumber yard any where. I remember the founder of Teague Lumber, hard working, honest and his integrity always stood out! The fruit does not fall far from the tree with this family owned business. It is nice to walk into a business and you can tell without any postings on the wall that this is a God fearing and a God serving company. I can’t say enough good about Teague. I’m a homeowner not a big account contractor. Despite that the team up at Teague make me feel important and take great care of me. These guys know their stuff. True professionals in every way. Ken is tremendous and embraces true customer service, provides wise counsel, and always takes time to help me with my projects. Steve who works in the lot is always kind and loads my lumber after he secures and bundles the trim. Always a warm welcome from Chris and counter staff. Prices are far better than Lowes and Home Depot and never out of stock. I truly appreciate

Great customer service (Ken was super helpful!) and great quality lumber. We shopped around town before coming back here to purchase some cedar for a small DIY project, and no one else’s lumber compared to the quality. That, plus great service, made it worth every penny! Will probably update my review with a photo of the finished product.

We were weary of coming here based on bad reviews..but they were the only place that had what we needed. We showed up and were greeted with smiling faces. The sales people were super friendly and helped us get exactly what we needed. Helped us with measurements and loading. Even the sales clerk was friendly. We will be coming here from now on !

I wanted to order some specialty sized lumber from them, and it was significantly more expensive than Lowe's had quoted me. I ended up not going with them for the lumber, but they saved my hide by having a lot of specialty brackets and hangers that nobody else in town had in stock. Big thumbs up for that.
