Creative Flooring & Design is family owned and operated by owners Randy & Vicky Pittman since 2009. Our ever-growing selection allows us to provide New Bern and surrounding areas with beautiful floors, showers, backsplashes and much more. Randy moved to New Bern in the early 1980s from Kinston and started installing flooring for Sherwin-Williams.
In 1997, he began installing for Custom Floors & Interiors. In 2009, he decided to open his own showroom and Creative Flooring & Design was born. Randy has since quit installing and can now be found in the showroom or supervising our many crews. Vicky installed with Randy from 2003 to 2009. When Creative Flooring & Design opened, she could be found in the showroom helping customers make selections and scheduling our crews' day.

I just had these beautiful tiles put on my screened porch. It looks so beautiful. Creative flooring and the man that did the tile work did an awesome job. Had my floors done a year ago. They were not finished with enough coats. After a little research I found this out. Creative floor knew I had a dog and best practice is at LEAST 3 coats. The best coating for my floors may also not have been used for Dogs but I can’t get someone on the phone that knows anything to call me back. I was informed if dents occurred by Ricky to just call and they would fix it. Crickets. I can’t even get someone to return a call. First time, I called I was told to use boba mom refresher... uhm no that’s not going to work. Second, third and fourth time I called I was
