Bailey's Bass Shack Boydton, VA

Bailey's Bass Shack is a private rental house that is located in Boydton, Virginia on Eastland Creek of Buggs Island (also known as Kerr Lake) which is above the dam that feeds Lake Gaston. This beautiful, private home has plenty of room, a large yard and is surrounded by woods on three sides. The Bass Shack is 1 1/2 hours from Richmond and 1 hour north of Raleigh NC.

Lakefront: A wooded area along shoreline blocks the direct view of the lake from the house. There is a short walk to the lake and a private dock. This beautifully refurbished home is on a rear corner of small subdivision (very private) with a private path leading to your personal dock and the water.

My husband and I had a total blast at the Bailey's Bass Shack. It has all the modern comforts wanted on a vacation and yet still has that fabulous rustic feel. The House is near the water and during our stay the lake was not crowded. Saw a mix of activities on the lake. You can ski, tube, fish, swim or just putt around in your boat.

Great staff, competetive prices and more merchandise than some stores twice the size. I have been shopping at the bass shack since they were out on 74 and I was, well let's just say 35 years. If they don't have it, you probably don't need it.

This place is like an old school bait and tackle store from 20 years ago. They have a wide selection and are willing to answer your question and offer help. Awesome customer service. Highly recommended.
