Jim's Pharmacy is your independent, locally-owned community pharmacy since 1983. The Jim's Pharmacy Family feels fortunate to serve the Olympic Peninsula with our pharmacy services, home health equipment, and gift shop. Husband-and-wife founders, Jim and Barb Cammack, had met years before at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy.
Medications and insurance billing can be confusing. Jim's Pharmacy has the answers to your questions about your health care. Our staff has extensive expertise to assist you with your prescriptions and any related health concerns, including over-the-counter medications and home medical equipment and supplies.
Jim's Pharmacy is the only retail pharmacy on the Olympic Peninsula offering USP800 compliant compounding. Why do we compound? Drug manufacturers create medications in fixed dosages and formulations. This one-size-fits-all system does not account for differences between individuals. Body composition, allergies, genetics, sex, and age can all contribute to medication requirements that are not available in commercially-made products.
Our immunization-trained pharmacists administer a wide variety of CDC-recommended vaccines. Some vaccines require a prescription from your doctor and most vaccines can be billed to your insurance. We offer routine adult and child vaccines, including the Seasonal Flu shot, High-Dose Flu shot (for ages 65 and over), Tdap, Shingrix, Prevnar 13, Pneumovax 23, Hepatitis A and B, Gardasil, and MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella).
Jim's carries a wide variety of over-the-counter (OTC) products, many of which may be recommended by your physician but are hard to find at big box stores. We stock hot and cold therapies including Biofreeze and Sombra products. We carry Sea-Band motion sickness bracelets, natural bug repellents in the form of a bracelet or patch, My Magic Mud whitening toothpaste and powder, and a wide variety of probiotics.

Great little store and pharmacy! This place not only has the most delicious chocolates and hard to find candies, but it also has a great stock of candles and cards and all sorts of medical supplies and fun toys! This is truly the store to come to for not only fill your prescriptions but to also get that small gift for the person who has everything!!

We schedule a Covid test 2week in advance and when we got there they didn't have test for us ,now my friends are stuck in Washington for 17 extra days cause no boats ,plain,or trains go to their island,if we had gotten test that was scheduled for my friend's they would have made their boat,and when pharmacist asked who we scheduled with we told her the name she took her name tag off immediately so obviously it was her and all she could say was sorry we will never ever recommend or use Jim's pharmacy again,especially if our life are dependent upon them,they don't care . I help take care of my elderly father who has heart issues and dementia. We switched to jims because they do pill packs and deliver. It went ok for a bit ( At least for him it's gone OK for a bit, but for me they've always been rude so I refuse to ever go back) but lately jims has dropped the ball so many times And either they don't have his med pack ready at the time I need his meds or they haven't put it together correctly and the medication is missing. Transferred my prescription here because I try to shop local but they dropped the ball every step of the way and refused to honor my medical exemption and forced me to be serviced through their drive-thru like a second class citizen. Took about half an hour to pick up half the prescription I'd ordered 48hrs in advance.

Absolute best pharmacy ever! I'm visiting family and staying for about two months so I transferred my prescriptions here. The staff is so kind and helpful! It's a real nice change from cvs. They're making me want to move back to port Angeles!

Absolutely disappointing. Rented a piece of equipment, was unaware it was a monthly fee. The rented piece of equipment broke after a month. Then come to find out if you go to Hospice, you can give them any amount of a donation and rent the same things for them. Jim’s is a joke, I’ll never go here ever again. Nor will any of my family or friends.

The pharmacy has made excuses for THREE MONTHS for not getting prescription medical supplies to me after Medicare had paid them for the supplies which prevented me from getting them from anyone else. I'm about to file a formal complaint with Medicare.

I have had better service in the past...timely, courteous, but recently have had to reorder automatic prescriptions, and when I asked why, the response on the phone was, "You should have known we were having trouble with our phone lines!" When asked how I would have known that, I was told "Our other clients knew!" The same person did not want to use my card they have on file for payment, but wanted me to pay the delivery person at the door. This rude, unprofessional behavior was quite distressing, and I have since changed to another pharmacy that understands the importance

Pharmacy used to be awesome, know there is no stable communication going on at all, apparently informing patrons of what actually is going on is beyound their capabilities, after fifteen plus I'm gone kicked it because I was frustrated coming back and forth with no results, and with my left wrist broken can barely get stupid sign in thing into said old drawer, I slammed it in, more like dropped because I can barely do it anyway, whatever don't bother going there.

After 15 years as a client of Jim’s Pharmacy in Port Angeles, WA with good employer insurance I was treated decently by their customer service department. Then I was diagnosed with MS and required more medications and finally got on Medicaid. After struggling with keeping up on my scripts two years or so ago, they suggested a program they have called “time my meds.” Great they delivered and kept track of my meds. New to town and was referred here by my doctor. The staff was amazing and very helpful. They had my meds ready in about 10min. NOTHING LIKE WALMART or any other big chain pharmacy that doesn’t care about their patients well-being. Not to mention, they have adorable things in their store. I wish I could give our local pharmacy a good review but they just don't deserve it. What I really think would help is more employees. I have called before and it has taken 15 minutes or more to get through to somone. I have a family friend who can't drive and didn't get his medication because all of sudden after years of delivery they won't deliver in his area. When we went to the pharmacy and asked about it the very unhelpful pharmacist just said it was up to the drivers. So apparently the drivers can just pick and choose who gets their medication that day. I have also had
