I visit Phoenix every year to see my folks and wanted to buy a gift for my cousin. I found this spot through Yelp and was pleased when I walked in. If you are looking for a unique gift such as mugs, pots, clothing, cards, jewelry and much more, this place may be a great choice for you. It is on the higher end of pricing but you are supporting artisans and specialty items. I ended up buying a small candle, card and really lovely mug. This shop is really cute! Located in a shopping center with a bunch of other cute shops and nice eateries. We didn't have much time so we only popped into Local Nomad briefly for a quick walk-through. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend checking it out. They sell cards, plants, clothing, accessories, etc. (:

When COVID hit, all I could think about were the local businesses I love and what I could do to help in any way. I had a lot of friends who either had birthdays, special occasions or just needed a pick-me-up, and Local Nomad always came through with the best gifts. Since things have reopened, I love shopping at their store because I get all kinds of good energy and just the design of the place itself makes me happy.

I'm so obsessed with this store. It's been my go-to spot for birthday and thank-you gifts + cards for friends and somehow I always end up buying something for myself. Recently picked up the most beautiful Brooklyn Candle Studio candle and it's honestly too pretty to burn so I just fall asleep every night sniffing it.

I've found out about some of the best//my favorite brands because of Local Nomad. The owner, Lauren, is the ultimate curator.
It's a great spot to buy a thoughtful gift for someone.

I would permanently move in here if that was allowed. The shop is perfect, and honestly I do like the slightly more hands-off customer service! It allows me to browse and soak it all in without feeling pressured. I've spent hours at a time in here, and I always leave with something unique and that I'm obsessed with. It is also the PERFECT place to shop for gifts! Nothing there is gimmicky or boring. You could close your eyes and spin around, grab something, and it would make the most stylish and thoughtful gift.

This shop is EVERYTHING. I lived in Phoenix for 20 years and never had there been a space to access the most curated, styled and perfect mix of home, clothing and apothecary like Local Nomad offers. They source all their products from local and global makers who have sustainability AND style in mind. And I can't walk out of there without more than expected, every time. The best part is, the shop owner is a GEM... she truly has the goal of bettering the community in mind and she is often there, always smiling and passionate about getting to know every single customer. This is our all time favorite boutique in Phoenix. Sophisticated yet minimalist desert style with sustainability and locality front of mind.
