Fairchild Medical Center offers two clinic locations in Siskiyou County to meet the health care needs of our rural community. Fairchild Medical Center is located in Yreka, across from the hospital. Scott Valley Rural Health Clinic is located in Etna. At Fairchild Medical Clinic in Yreka, we offer a variety of Primary Care services as well as Specialty Clinics to meet your health care needs.

Fairchild Medical Clinic offers primary care and specialty clinic care across the street from the hospital.
Dr. Dan Bullock is an Orthopedic Surgeon in the Fairchild Medical Center Orthopedic Clinic. Dr. Fred Eastman is an Orthopedic Surgeon in the Fairchild Medical Center Orthopedic Clinic. Chad Palmer is a Physician Assistant that relocated from Northeast Florida in 2013.
He received his Bachelor's in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida in 2005 then went on to get his Master's in Athletic Training from the University of Florida in 2007.Chad practiced Athletic Training for six years before returning to school to become a PA. He graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University's PA Program.

Fairchild Medical Center provides free access to patient portals for our hospital and clinic patients. Patient portals contain lab records, health information and other patient specific information. At FMC we have two unique patient portals. One for the hospital and one for our clinics. You will need to login to the correct portal to view your information and records based on where you were treated.

Just wanted to give a take on my experience of having a procedure done by Dr. DeRouchey and his team a couple of days ago. I am new to the area and this was my first time in Fairchild Medical for and operation. I was very pleased with the way I was treated by the Nurses, Technicians and the rest his team. They made me feel comfortable while was in their hands and was well taken care of. Dr. DeRouchey spent a good amount of time with me before the procedure explaining what they were going to do and answered all my questions and after the procedure he came to bed side and explained the results as

Terrible clinic . Everyone hates there job working we went into the ER and they ran a ultrasound. The lady who did the ultrasound was extremely rude . Would not let my wife get dressed and opened the door before she could even get her underwear on . Extremely disrespectful wouldn't recommend going here even in a emergency

My best friend has severe eosinophilic asthma. She came to this hospital during one of her prolonged asthma attacks. She was there for 5 hours and never received a breathing a treatment. These doctors and nurses and extremely negligent. I have heard horror stories from friends and family about this hospital. You are not safe under their care. I cannot believe that this place is still open. Their needs to be an investigation of this hospital and it’s staff immediately.

My child had a bleeding nose for 4 days and finally, I decided to take her to the ER to get it checked. We waited in the lobby room for 3 hours and 3 people came after us were called to go back and got seen. After I asked Devon (the person who checked us in 3 hours before) why is it taking them so long just to call us back. He then told me that we are not prioritized because my child doesn't look like she needs medical attention and that they are very busy and there are no rooms open. So basically we came in to waste our time. Worst hospital ever.

Went to the emergency room to hope to find help with my sickness, ended up waiting 4 hours until I couldn't handle the pain and wanted to go home. This place is EVIL and does not care for your weal being. Please do not waste your time or energy here. Go to Oregon or mount Shasta !!! For your own safety I don't recommend this place at all.

Avoid this hospital AT ALL COSTS! Their emergency room nurses are the RUDEST , MOST INSENSITIVE, and DOWNRIGHT ABUSIVE I have ever come across. And those are MANY. I have an extensive medical and psychiatric history- came to the ER bc I flipped my truck off a ravine on 96, and these nurses were openly griping and complaining that I ruined their night right before they got off shift- I have already reached out to FMC risk department and the state licensing board. My mom is a charge nurse at Northwell Health for the past 20years. The way these FMC nurses handled me is grossly negligent, sub standard

I have been talking to lawyers looking for someone to represent is and how fair hold mistreats their patients ,. Worst hospital I've ever been to on the west coast. They have literally killed people because of bad call and poor beside manner because all they want is a paycheck. I personally know somebody who had bone cancer and they let her sit in the er waiting room for 5 hours with a broken femur and she went to Mount Shasta Mercy hospital to get real help.

I’m from Redding and was driver for my daughter who had outpatient surgery. She was unable to find a physician in our area(unbelievable). Dr Conroy embraced my daughter as a patient. The staff from outpatient registration was caring and respectful. Our nurses in preop and postop were outstanding. The doctor, anesthesia staff and surgical assistant all came in before surgery. All were so caring, explained what to expect and wanted to answer all questions in full. If surgery could be an awesome experience, this was it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your care of my daughter.

The only good doctors are Monica maze and the new Dr . Tez at the clinic . If u are going to an ER please travel to Oregon or Redding . Fairchild will admit you and take away your rights and not inform your family or anyone of what's going on and will make all the important decisions themselves without the correct information . Please be aware. Patients have rights and so does family of patients. Please go elsewhere

My 86 year old mother recently fell & broke her hip. I know this hospital has had some complaints in the past, and my dad & sister were concerned since Covid19 kept them from being in the ER or hospital with her; a rule we had no argument with considering the risks. As her oldest daughter & a retired RN I did most of the communication via phone, from many miles away. I spoke with the orthopedist, Dr. Ure, that NP-Anesthesiologist, and the nursing staff several times; each was professional, knowledgeable, pleasant & helpful. My mother also expressed her high degree of satisfaction

I have read the reviews and each person has there own experiences. I myself personally have always been treated with nothing but compassion, care, and concern. The staff was amazing as well as the physicians that were working at that time. I had a major issue and was amazed at how quickly they responded to my health condition. Fairchild wonders why their ER is inundated with complaints that are minor and can be taken care of by a primary care physician? Well they need to look at their own clinic, which provides care to the Vast Majority of Northern Siskiyou County. Today is a Friday and I called in to try and get my sister some help from her physician, only to be told that there are NO primary care employees who work on Fridays. SERIOUSLY?! Got here with a sick six year old at 2:30 on a Saturday and there were literally three people waiting. Two and a half hours later we are sitting in the ER waiting room by ourselves. Nobody else has been in the waiting for over a half hour. I think maybe they forgot about us. 2 hours and 45 minutes, still no patients, no nurses, no anyone, just us waiting by ourselves. Do not come here. Drive to Mount Shasta and go to Mercy. I will never come here again.

I had written a review on their google reviews and they had deleted my review. My parents had gotten into a really bad accident and i posted up our experience there. I also contacted state board and they couldnt do anything about it because they didnt have enough evidence on the case. However, this shows to everyone that had read my review that they deleted it and dont want to be exposed! I have 500 shares of this hospital and I would hate to hear that someone else went through the same situation that my parents and I had gone through. Such an incompetent hospital. After a car crash where the car was totaled, those involved were told by the staff here to just take Tylenol because everything was "fine" (despite the pain and the lightheaded-ness the patients said they were feeling). Discharged after a few hours of coming in. Primary doctor said they shouldn't have been released so early.
