I graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2004 with a master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I am nationally and state certified as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. The Diplomate certification encompasses acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, massage, and qigong.

I really hope that anyone who read the one star review below will quickly realize that this woman has more than a few screws loose! First of all, Flourish Acupuncture is located in a beautiful, historic building that is in perfect condition and not the least bit haunted :). The signage is perfectly clear on both sides of the building and the office is very easy to find.

On the initial visit, Tamara took more time to learn about my past and present medical conditions than my primary doctor at the V.A. – she cover my medical history completely as well as my life style. For years, I’ve been taking medication for pain that did not help, after the first session I can barely feel the pain. Did my research and acupuncture has been around for 5000 years verses the short period of Pharmaceutical drugs which come with side effects. Highly recommend for those in pain every day to seek the help Tamar and her staff can provide.
