I moved to the Des Moines area in 2015 from a rural area in southeast Iowa looking to experience a slightly bigger city, but I didn't leave my small town girl heart and soul. I still absolutely require a strong cup of coffee in the morning and after that I rely on laughs, smiles, and an occasional cuss word to get me through the day.
