How are you tracking your fitness progress? Weight loss can be an important method in trying to live a healthier lifestyle. Oftentimes we use a bathroom scale to help us track how much weight we're losing. But doesn't it seem like that new diet or exercise you've been trying only helps you lose weight temporarily and sometimes you end up gaining even more weight?
If you are currently a member of Gym 28 and you refer someone to our gym, you will receive $100 if they sign up for at least a 12 month group membership or $40 if they sign up for a 12 month basic membership. You can either take the cash or apply that amount to your next membership dues. This is a fantastic way to ensure we have members that fit our community.
Alan has been involved in physique and strength sports his entire training career. He has successfully trained competitors and helped them achieve elite levels of competition. Alan also excels at helping all age groups get physically active to get in their best shape ever. His philosophy of health and fitness has evolved over the past 25 years.
Alan is an extremely knowledgeable trainer who motivates a person to get the very best workout. He has an extensive understanding of fitness nutrition and can make great recommendations for meal plans. I have been working with him for over 5 years and have been completely satisfied with each session.

Gym 28 is like a family. I have made so many new friends. Alan and Ginger are the best. They are so encouraging and they truly want to see each person make a change and push hard. I love Gym 28. Best decision I have ever made on a gym and also the best workout I have ever had.

Great Gym!! Alan and Ginger are fantastic in what they do and they take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you are at. You will feel encouraged by them and they will make you feel welcomed. Best decision I’ve made was joining Gym 28. Gym 28 is such an amazing place to belong to. Alan and Ginger really care about every person here, always with hi fives positive vibes all around. Making everyone feel completly comfortable. They provide you with the best fitness classes and equipment to reach your goal. I love the feeling of accomplishment after each workout. I highly recommend Gym 28. Owners Alan Anderson and Ginger Rogers are very knowledgeable in what it takes to get you in the best shape. They provide you with fitness classes that provide challenging exercises for a variety of fitness levels. The best part is that you form relationships with Alan and Ginger along with the rest of the workout group, which encourages you to challenger yourself. I would have to say from experience it is the best place to workout in San Angelo!!!

Great atmosphere, clean and beautiful facility. Chris is extremely patient and makes working out very enjoyable. The protein shakes are DELICIOUS and they have a great variety!!

My wife has been going to this gym with her personal trainer for a few weeks. Earlier this week we stopped in to get some information. The place is clean and well kept. We instantly joined and have been going every day since. I wake up early so having early access with a key card is nice. I have yet to be at a time when it is crowded. Most of the time it is myself and just 2-3 others. This place does not feel intimidating for those trying to get into shape or back into shape like myself. If you haven't had a chance to stop in and check it out, I would encourage you to do so.

I highly recommend Gym 28 the owners are very friendly and helpful. I love the small gym atmosphere not over crowded at all. This gym also has all the equipment you would need for just about any workout.

This place is a great gym for either personal training, small group classes or if you just want to exercise on your own. Allen and Ginger are knowledgeable and very helpful and everyone on the staff is very friendly. The gym is always kept very clean and orderly... it’s a great place for working out.

Alan is always friendly, and is always there to answer any questions. Very good personal trainer. I would recommend to anyone, any age.
