Services
Lifelong friends (and still friends after being in business together for over 14 years!) and Wisconsin Dells natives, Chefs Justin Draper and Wade Bernander stand proud over their culinary creation, High Rock Cafe, opened in 2004. Their collection of recipes reflects their wanderlust, with flavor inspirations from their travels to the east and west coasts and points in between before both returned to the Dells to set down roots once again.
Fresh tomatoes, garlic, balsamic vinegar, red onion, fresh basil, Wisconsin mozzarella and Parmesan cheese served on garlic rubbed crostini. Pan-seared golden brown, served over mixed greens with sweet chili orange marmalade and soy sauce. 1/2 lb of fried "Wisconsin" cheese curds tossed with truffle oil, parmesan cheese, parsley and served with roasted garlic aioli.
Sauteed garlic shrimp, bacon, poached eggs, & tomato basil hollandaise on an English muffin. Served with oven-roasted potatoes. Scrambled eggs, sauteed onions, peppers, cheddar cheese and black beans folded in a wheat tortilla. Topped with cilantro lime sour cream and fresh pico de gallo. Served with our green onion, roasted garlic and bacon hash.

Cute place! Server was very nice & attentive. We had a cheeseburger (with an extra patty) and truffle fries…excellent! Truffle fries were unbelievable! The country Benedict was delicious on a cheddar biscuit with fried eggs covered in gravy with cubed potatoes! The loaded potato soup was also delicious! I had the meatloaf sandwich with the truffle fries! Again, the truffle fries (although a bit more expensive-$4 up charge) are phenomenal. The meatloaf was charred! I ate about 3 bites, tried to scrape off some of the charring, as it seemed to be only on one side. When I showed it to the server

If you’re in the Dells and want great food and a chill atmosphere, check this place out. Super friendly and attentive service, the host was so polite and professional and we’re really glad we found this little gem. Bruschetta was good, ahi tuna was excellent
(we ended up getting two orders), brunch was great too. I highly recommend the bloody marys - delish. Will eat here again.

I've visited this restaurant every time I'm in the Dells vacationing. The food is absolutely fantastic, their drink menu is divine, the service from both staff and management are above and beyond, and let's not forget that their prices are extremely affordable.
Because of these great experiences I've had, I more than ever provide High Rock Cafe as the top eat of the Dells when informing friends or family, or he'll even strangers! It's worth the hassle to find a parking spot, or even the possible 10 minutes wait.
If I had a complaint, it would be more so with my

Check out HIGH ROCK CAFE if you visiting @waterparkcapital - Wisconsin Dells. Excellent restaurant and excellent service. We loved everything we ordered. Pleasantly surprised by the attention to presentation.
The Thai Tuna, Slammin Salmon, and FireBird were my favorites. Others were equally good. We tried all the spirit free cocktails and enjoyed the unique taste of each. The watermelon mojito, Humu humu, mango mama, and rock a Rita were fantastic. Loved it!! Hi

My mom and I live in the Twin Cities, and we have family in Chicago and in Rhinelander, so we got the idea to all drive to Wisconsin Dells just to meet up for lunch. This was the restaurant where we met, and we are very likely to return to this restaurant for the same purposes in the future, which should tell you something.
This eatery on the main drag in the downtown area has a bar and a good amount of seating options across two floors and a patio area. They promise a modern and unique approach to their cuisine, suggesting that they are playful and creative with their recipes. I think they should

Before I came to Wisconsin Dells I googled where to go for a dinner. There were just a few places that were rated as a wanted. High rock cafe was one of them.
We stopped by and decided to give them a try. We were sitted right away, without any waiting time. Everyone seems so kind. Our waitress looked a little bit lost, but doesn't matter. Ordered two virgin cocktails - humu humu nuku nuku apua that were delicious, and two beers. For appetizers we got gilly goat and fish tacos. Gilly goat was sooo good, but since i am not big fan of taco's, I didn't like them that much. I also

I really hate doing this (truly look at my Yelp, I only come here to let people know when I had a great experience)
Pros: if you like ahi tuna, get it. It was delicious and their cucumber salad was super unique. Also, our waitress could not have been any sweeter.
Cons: I ordered a watermelon and mint spritzer off their "mocktail menu" -- it was basically a kiddie cocktail with some mint floating around. After a couple sips I told the waiter it was too sweet and sent it back, asking for the $7 kiddie cocktail to be taken off the bill. She came back and told me her manager said "

This place looks small from the outside but once you step inside, it is full of character. It's a split level that is quaint and calm because of the high ceiling sun roof they have. We were seated on the upper level and our server Madi was supper sweet. Actually the whole staff was wonderful. We had 4 different dishes and they were all a hit. You should definitely visit once while in the Dells.

Great service and amazing food!! The staff is friendly and take very good care of their guests. The food is definitely chef created and amazing!! The All-American is delicious. The only sad part is you cannot get a side order of their grown up Mac and cheese that comes on top of it. The Bruschetta chicken dish is delightful and a very well crafted dish. For appetizer I had the Gilly Goat and the Truffled Cheese curds. Both of these are note worthy and totally worth every cent. The only downside of the Truffled cheese curds is the Aoli it comes with can over power the parmesan cheese and truffle

Whenever I go to the Dells, I lower my expectations around getting good food. Yes, there are a few bright spots in town but let's face it, restaurants cater to tourists that may never return. They abandon every effort to build up return clientele and instead turn to methods and practices that get people in and out the door as quickly as possible. High Rock has been around awhile so I was shocked on how poor the food was. Sure, we stopped for dinner during COVID during our stay at Sundara but pandemic or not, the food was not good. Case in point, the garlic tater tots (photo shown). Never

I would prefer to give this a 4.5, but Yelp is Yelp.
Hig recommendation here. This is not your average burger and fry place on the strip. The food is a level or two above.
Pros: excellent food. I had the meatloaf sandwich and it was great. Toasted bread, a nice BBQ sauce, pickles and cheese...great flavor and not a standard meatloaf either. My wife had the prime rib sandwich (a daily special). I never order PR sandwiches because the meat is typically thick and their are pockets of fat, which I hate. This sandwich had neither (I tried a bite or three). There was a delicious smoked flavor

Definitely a great place to visit when in the Dells for breakfast or lunch. We found it on yelp and it did not disappoint. First and most of all, the interior design is simply stunning! The combination of handmade fork chandelier with creative blinds that look like sails and make you feel like you are out in the sea with your own private chef, is out of this world! The menu is quite pleasing and the prices, for the most part, are ok, except for espresso drinks. I had a $6 cappuccino. No, not the venti Starbucks size, just regular. It was not worth $6 for the size and taste. I ordered the shrimp
