Creekside Junior Academy's philosophy is that all children should be given the opportunity to thrive in an educational environment that is engaging, dynamic and challenging. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum develops the whole child through rich, integrated, and motivating activities. We foster each child's creativity and self-image by allowing the child to learn and develop through structured discovery and play.

Hi, my name is Jennifer Morse, AKA, "Teacher Jen." I am the owner and pre-kindergarten teacher at CJA. I moved to Columbia County in 2004 and opened Creekside Junior Academy in 2005. I hold a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Human Services. Prior to receiving my teaching degree, I worked as a substance abuse counselor for 3.5 years leading therapy group sessions and writing curriculum.

At Creekside Junior Academy, we offer a variety of enrichment classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and elementary school students. Enrichment classes are perfect opportunities for children to build additional skills through small group learning experiences, where they can meet new friends who might not be in their regular classes.

At CJA, we strive to work closely with parents in a partnership that will facilitate the transitions between home and school. Regular communications and a sense of trust between parents and teachers are vital. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care and education for children and to ensure that parents are valued and respected.
