Laser cutting is a highly precise and efficient method of cutting metals. Laser cutters are computer directed which ensure a safer experience with less errors. Unlike traditional punch pressing, laser cutting offers many advantages. The level of precision and quality of edges are sharper and more pristine, the cuts are free of burrs and dust formations, and the amount of contamination to the material is reduced as well.
A Water Jet cutter is a highly effective machine when precision and accuracy are demanded, using extremely high pressure water jets to cut a wide range of materials. Water Jet cutters are the preferred machine in industries such as aerospace because their materials are sensitive to high temperatures, the water jet cutter does not affect the chemical characteristics of these materials.
Metal shearing is an effective way of separating metal into two parts without using any form of heat. The term "shearing" by itself refers to a precise cutting method that produces straight line cuts to separate a piece of sheet metal. The operated shear machine applies a large amount of force to cut the metal accurately and precisely.
Guzman Manufacturing performs some of its basic machining in-house utilizing our various Bridgeport mills and lathes. Our more complex CNC-machine work is handled turn-key. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, we have fostered long and solid working relationships with some of the best full service machine shops in the area.
