Salon El-Khouri is an upscale full-service AVEDA Salon and Day Spa located in Andrews, NC. Complimentary strand test required before booking in order to give a proper estimate on time and cost. Strand test can take two or more hours depending on the steps involved to achieve the desired goal and to make sure the integrity of the hair isn't compromised, not knowing the history of your hair.
Salon El-Khouri is Cherokee County's best location for your Wedding or Special Event preparations. With our personal service and exceptional quality, we do our best to create the perfect day for you. All of our services can be contracted either in our salon or on-location for your special day. We classify updos as anything that is pinned, flat ironed, curled, teased or meticulously placed.
Although it is not required, we do recommend a trial run/practice session for the bride's hair and makeup. We ask that you bring pictures of styles you like and headpieces you may use on the day of the wedding i.e. Remember to bring your headpiece/tiara/veil, and pictures of bridal hair styles / make-up you like.
Our service providers will create a relaxing session for you, offering Swedish, Relaxation, and Hot Stone massages as well as customized facial treatments. Dry, oily, aging, uneven, sensitive and acneic skin conditions and eye concerns can all be addressed with a customized Tulasara facial treatment.
Includes nail shaping, filing, and buffing; cuticle care, hand massage with lotion, and polish change. Includes nail trim and filing, cuticle care, scrub, massage with lotion, and polish change. Aveda spa manicures are a step above. Our customized treatments care more deeply for the hands - adding a scrub, masque, steamed towels, extended hand and lower arm massage and shoulder massage onto the basic manicure service.

I can’t say enough about this business. I purchased two very high quality wigs from them. From the minute I walked in the door, I felt like family. They were professional but anything but snobby.
When I completed my Cancer treatment, both chemo and radiation, I called to see if they did consignment to help me sell the wigs as I felt I didn’t need them anymore.
The husband and wife team of owners were incredibly nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for any services they offer.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is having an event in the area local brides prom anything! I came in to have an updo done for my sister's wedding which was at the Hawkesdene. From the moment I walked in the door I felt extremely welcomed! not only did the owner go out of her way to make sure that my hair wouldn't be frizzy on this very special day but she did an amazing job with my hair! The salon is absolutely beautiful on the inside not at all what I had imagined in my mind whenever I thought I was coming to this small town I never heard of in North Carolina. the staff here

I arrived in Andrews NC 4 years ago, having been born and raised in the Chicago area for my entire life. I moved here for the peace, serenity and beauty which only a small town in the mountains can provide. I was not expecting to replicate an urban lifestyle as it was a great trade off for seeing the stars at night and hearing the birds in the first light of day. I was pleasantly surprised, however, to discover that I didn’t have to give up being pampered. El-Khouri Salon and Spa, its extensive services and wonderful staff provide a luxurious personal experience tailored to individual tastes

This salon is a Spa hands down. You are treated like royalty from the moment you walk in! It is Zen and beautiful. The service is top notch! Complementary beverages and it is an experience just getting your hair washed. Full line of Salon services as well as massage. They will even o Princess parties for little girls! Such a gem in downtown Andrews!

I really love this salon and day spa. The people are very cordial and friendly. The stylist Rita is exceptional and their products are the best. The salon is spotless . While they shampoo your hair afterwards, they put a hot towel wrap on your hair and ask if you would like a complimentary hand massage. Who can say no to that? You are treated like royalty there. They show you the whole salon and the spa. They show you the beverage station where they have a variety of refreshments.
I have to say I was not only impressed, but never have I been to a classier salon than Salon El- Khouri and Day spa

My first experience with El-Khouri was for my daughters wedding in October 2018. We booked the salon for Family and Friends. A year later everyone wants to come back to Andrews-NC, not for the mountains but to book an appointment with Rita and staff.
I am now a regular.

I absolutely LOVED this salon! My son was married at Hawkesdene on November 2. We are from South Carolina. I booked hair and makeup for myself and my other future daughter in law at Salon El-khouri ....sight unseen! I was nervous! I had hair and makeup done for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day. Oh my gosh! Rita and Savannah worked a wedding miracle on me! I have never felt more beautiful in my life! I had so so many compliments! I have very difficult hair but It was no problem for Rita! Savannah was so sweet and personable as I told her about all my skin issues when she applied makeup

Salon El-Khouri provided all the hair and makeup for our wedding, including the bride, bridesmaids, and mothers. We all looked gorgeous! They came to our cabin and were very patient and pleasant. A hidden gem of class and talent in the mountains of NC! I booked here to get my hair and makeup done for my wedding and they far exceeded my wishes! Courtney did an absolutely amazing job on my makeup and hair! Even went so far as to helping me get dressed at the salon for my wedding so i could head straight there! Went above and beyond to help some wardrobe malfunctions! We were eloping so i didnt have a bridal party yet these women at the salon made me feel as if i had my bride tribe there! I watched the talent of the other salon professionals and i was amazed at each one! I would highly recommend

Salon El-Khouri is the real deal. I recently visited family in Andrews NC, and honestly was skeptical that a high-quality salon could be found in such a small town-- but I was very pleasantly surprised! The salon is clean, up to date and modern in appearance. I got a haircut and color and was VERY impressed with the results! I can tell the salon owner, Rita, takes great pride in her space and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town!
