A comprehensive eye exam for us can take up to an hour and will include an external and internal eye health evaluation. Tests for visual field defects, glaucoma and cataracts will be preformed This will be followed by a careful measurement of your prescription, call the refraction, and a binocular vision assessment will be taken.
Many people prefer to wear contacts instead of eyeglasses. Luckily, as advances are made in the optometry field, more and more people are able to wear contacts to improve their vision. If you are interested in getting contact lenses, it is important to let your eye doctor know since contact lens examinations are not always performed during routine eye checkups.

I’ve been in Havre for two years after being gone for 28 years in Helena. Last year I had an eye exam and was talked into a pair of “Office Glasses” for the computer work I do. When they came back, it felt like I was in a fun house. They made me sick and things were distorted. I went back to the office to complain. There was some sort of prism put in there that wasn’t supposed to be. So they were sent back to Helena for the lenses to be reground. When they came back, they were a little better, but when my eyes would glance outside of a small designed peep hole, the RX was different and
