Services
We offer a complete line of Tree Services to help you maintain safe and beautiful surroundings. We're locally owned and operated with over 20 years of experience in the tree service industry. Hopton's Tree Service is a professional tree service company servicing Volusia County and surrounding areas.
The Central Florida area, especially cities like DeLand, DeBary, Deltona, Lake Mary and Winter Park, are known for their majestic trees some of which are over 100 years old. While these mature trees give your property a regal look, and can improve the value of your property if you use a professional Tree Service to maintain them, they can also pose a risk to your property if left unattended.

We had a couple of quotes, and picked Hopton's was reasonable compare to other companies. The crew showed up as scheduled. They' did the work quickly, taking precaution to avoid damaging the surrounding area. When the job was done, they left the property clean, removing all the debris. I would recommend Hopton's Tree Service for your next tree work.

The tree removal work was ok, but the lack of care taken to prevent damage to the yard was very poor. There heavy equipment destroyed my yard. I was told they would lay plywood down to protect the lawn. I was under the assumption it would be the entire path the equipment would use. They might have placed 8 sheets of plywood between my yard and my neighbor’s yard. After confronting him about the damage to the lawn I got the song and dance about the ground being wet and that if if I wanted the debris removed by the workers by hand it would cost me more. I was never told that. I had just spent

I called this company out for a estimate along with four others from Everybody’s business local magazine. The Four other companies gave me price ranges from $550-$650, this guys quote was $1300, (everyone should know this). Buyer beware! Price gouging seems to be part of the business model. There is simply no justification for his quote. DOUBLE the next highest quote!
There was a response on the BBB site. It boils down to this,...The tree is down, the driveway was not damaged, the landscape was not damaged, the debris was removed. The company I hired did a great job and the total cost was $650

I have had several estimates on removing a large water oak next to my home and over my roof.
My neighbor had three oaks taken down by Hopton. I watch them remove one oak from my neighbors roof after it fell during Irma. He later had two or three others removed from around his home by this same company. I watch them carefully remove the trees using a lift and ropes to ensure the property was not damaged and the workers not injured.
I called them this week for an estimate. They were knowledgeable about the tree and said it was rotten and should come down, which I did already know. They gave me
