When the people of Thomasville say that our city has something to offer to everyone, we really mean it. When you think of the South and food, a number of tasty recipes no doubt come to mind. But no matter if your main dish is fried chicken or barbecued pork, and regardless of whether you have cornbread or grits for a side, chances are you're going to cap your delicious meal off with pecans. That's because pecans are a Southern dessert staple.

They have almost completely updated this RV park! Very nice, newly paved and wide entrance, etc. This Manager is excellent - friendly and professional; helpful and very focused on your pleasant stay. Common areas/buildings are kept very clean. Dog/cat friendly. This is a comfortable, SAFE, clean, friendly environment with only a few (temporary) full and "seasonal" full timers such as the South's beloved "Snowbirds", or ones having a grandchild at the University here with parents wanting "granny/papa" nearby to be sure their student (who has housing in Thomasville) stays focused on their education

Nice people, not a Resort. Wifi worse than sketchy unless you are close to the office. No picnic tables at individual site couldn't fit them anyway due to the closeness of the spots. They did have a good common area under roof with tables and grills. Men's shower area clean, has pump soap and shampoo. I was only here two nights. Both nights trains at 1am and another at 6 am, felt like it was coming through the middle of the campground. No one could sleep through that.

Paid $36 for a single night stay with a Good Sam discount. Full hookups (30amp, water, sewer) BUT... our 50amp connection was throwing a low voltage error so we switched to 30amp which worked. We arrived late in the evening and the gentleman opened the office for us to let us in, so we opted to just deal with the lower 30amp instead of moving spots or trying to fix it since we didn't really have a lot of power needs for the evening. We stayed in site 40.
It's a small park and it appears more than half the spots are full-time occupants, but it's clean and easy enough to navigate. The sites are

Wow! This is a TOTALLY renovated RV park. It's hard to imagine that the old City of Roses RV Park could be transformed into such a high-class, functional park. The owner really sunk money into this place renovating the office, bathhouse, and laundry facility. New water lines and electric connections. The works!
Whatever you've read online about City of Roses, it has nothing to do with the new owner. The only carryover from the old park to the new one is the address. That's it. New everything, including a friendly and accommodating management team.
There are so many cool things to do in Thomasville
