Services
Some of the cabins have a lovely view of the river, and all are within a short walk of the recreation area where there is a dock, fishing and swimming area, volleyball, tetherball, and swings. Should you forget any important items (toothpaste, first aid, s'more's items, charcoal, etc.), we have many items available for purchase in our gift shop!
Our campgrounds have 14 Primitive Campsites and 4 sites with water and electric hookups for campers and RVs. All of our sites provide privacy for you and your family. There won't be others strolling through the middle of your set up or disturbing your peace. Tucked away in our lush campgrounds, the 18 foot Taysha tipi provides privacy and serenity while still enjoying a camping experience in nature. Our tipi comes from Nomadic Tipi Makers, famous for their tipis featured in the film "Dances with Wolves". The name "Taysha" is Caddoan for "friend". Caddo Indians originally inhabited our area, and the particular tribe of our region is where the name "Ouachita" came from.
Our little slice of heaven is located near 3 IMBA Epic Trails: Womble, Lake Ouachita Vista Trail, and the Ouachita Trail. In addition, there are an abundance of other great mountain bike trails in the area! On long, one way trails, it can be difficult to plan your ride and how to get picked up or dropped off.
Smallmouth, largemouth, and spotted bass, bluegill, catfish, green and longear sunfish, walleye and other species all call the area home! Ride the National Forest trails connected to our property or head up to Fourche trails (about 15 minutes away) or Wolf Pen Gap! There is SO much to do nearby! Spend your days enjoying crystal mines, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, ATVs, kayaking, canoeing, or tubing.

My expectations were much higher for $177 per night. Stayed here in the rose cabin for my honeymoon for 5 nights. the cabin was pretty run down and dated. Many things were broken including some of the amenities advertised. The hot tub did not work there was no heat except a space heater for the whole cabin. The handle for the shower was broke so a scalding hot shower had to suffice. The toaster broke and burnt my toast. There were other things advertised that were included with the stay that I never received or got to enjoy like the complementary bottle of wine/champagne the view of the river or

An idyllic place to get away from it all! Secluded, peaceful, and incredibly beautiful! We’ve stayed at the Magnolia Cabin twice and will definitely be returning again and again. The owners are the perfect hosts and so helpful with any needs or questions. The cabin was very roomy, comfortable, and had all the necessities already supplied. Our stays here have been perfect, and I can’t wait for the next one!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the rose cabin and it was splendid! The cabin was nice and roomy and the hot tub was perfect. It was secluded from the other cabins so we had lots of privacy. The property is well kept and we loved being so close to the river. The owners are gracious and helpful. We will be back for sure!

We loved everything about this campsite. Our site was right next to the river in a perfect spot for swimming where it had shallow and deep with a little bit of a current. We were the only ones at the campsite which was amazing. Other than the owners in the house. Many of the sites have a lot of shade that are near the river but you could choose one a little further away from the river with more sun. They have flushing toilets running water sinks and showers. I would recommend flip-flops or some type of water shoe for the shower. I only regret was that we only got to stay two nights. I would have

Beautiful, secluded, affordable, and family-friendly service! This campground is gorgeous! It's right on the beautiful Ouachita River. They have cabins, primitive camp sites, and some spots for some smaller RV's. We had a 19-foot trailer and because it had been raining (a lot) and the park was somewhat waterlogged we decided to park the trailer on a spot that was up the hill to avoid any difficulty getting out later, but they also had a couple of spots that were nearer the water. The park was very large, tons of huge trees, and lots of lush green grass. It is lovingly cared for, manicured
